Our lovely house in Mallinson Road (between the commons) has been in the family since 1933, unfortunately this is no longer to be and that presented an opportunity for an agent to represent us in the sale of our property. I met Dexters manager at the house who introduced himself as Matt Ward. Dressed in a dark suit, tie, and white shirt (for us of more mature years this really does make a difference). His knowledge of the local area and his assurance that Dexters had previous experience of similar properties requiring full restoration, was reassuring and we agreed that Dexters would represent us during the sale of the property and the house was placed on the market. From day one, the viewing rate led by Leah Paton was impressive. All appointments were communicated to me with details of attendees, dates, and times. Meanwhile the amazing Maisie Fraser guided my sisters and myself swiftly through the finer points of the online ID checks and remote identity verification documentation (thanks Maisie). On the 18th day from the listing Matt phoned me and gave me the good news that some strong offers had come in, one of which in particular satisfied all of the sales criteria and exceeded the asking price, so we agreed the sale. On the tenth week contracts were exchanged. On behalf of my sisters and myself I would like to thank Dexters Northcote road Staff for their help, support, professionalism and hard work in achieving the sale in such a short timescale, which is why we award you a 5* review.

I cannot recommend Leah from Dexters enough. It’s been a process and possibly one of the longest sales to go through. (Thank you to a very patient Leah and seller!). Leah helped us in our search for a new home from start to finish, and read my mind every time. She was able to guide and suggest whilst ensuring communication was a top priority. - nothing was ever too much and she made our whole experience so lovely and seamless. We are now very excited to start our next chapter in our new home- thank you for all the help Dexters (of whom I have met a few lovely agents- and especially Leah!)

Update: Aug 24. This is the second time we have sold with Dexters NCR. Matt and the team have been great, they managed a really complex (and long) transaction, I’m amazed they kept the deal together! Brilliant service - we are really pleased for the second time! March 2020: The unrivalled Nappy Valley Estate agents! Ian and his team have been absolutely brilliant during the sale of our flat. Proactive communication and empathy

Proactive communication, empathy and transparency are three core values I have seen demonstrated at Dexters. I have rented a home through them for nearly two years, and they have stood out as property managers that actually care. Most recently, Daragh Power has impressed me with their kindness and genuine care. I had two requests of the landlord, one that would require a change to my contact, and Daragh was AMAZING at listening to my needs, understanding the time sensitivity and following up with the landlord when we didn’t receive a response right away. They could have deprioritised my concerns or have gotten upset with my persistence but instead they understood where I was coming from and really advocated for me. This is exactly what one would want from a property manager, but is something I find is rare, especially in a ‘landlord market.’ Daragh communicated professionally throughout and made the entire process stress free. I wouldn’t choose another property manager besides Dexters.

Vote for worst estate agency of the year

This review is in particular for Dexter's Lee.If you think all Estate Agents in Lee are the same,then Dexter's Lee is definitely different. very different,in fact they could contend for the worst estate agency in England. I would highly recommend to anyone buying or selling through Dexter's Lee to contact me. The team, and in particular the sales team are money oriented. They will provide all sorts of distorted facts to make you list their property through them and whilst buying ,all sorts of lies without any moral conscience will be told. Their costs are higher than other than other estate agents who provide a far more personal service. This agency strives on the Dexter's brand but having dealt with Dexter's in other parts,I can easily vouch that they are the worst and most unprofessional. Please do your research before listing your property,buying and even thinking of renting out through them. They will completely ignore any of your requests or their duties as long as they can make their commission. As stated I am ready to help and discuss in more detail on why to avoid this agency

Dexters Northcote Road sold our ground floor flat Between the Commons for us recently. George and his team were fantastic from start to finish. At our initial valuation, George showed an extensive knowledge of the market in the area. He came prepared with comparable properties which had recently sold to justify his valuation, and closely listened to our needs as sellers, paying close attention to detail. We agreed on a marketing strategy and the initial process with photos and floor plans was succinct. Now onto George’s fantastic team… Despite us initially wishing to sell ‘off-market’, the team brought in a very healthy number of viewings, which only demonstrates their motivation and thirst to succeed. The team were friendly, driven and effective communicators, keeping in touch regularly and responding to our requirements without a fuss. A special mention needs to go to Charlie, who secured us a strong offer, and Leah, whom we built such a strong rapport with during our weekly catch ups. Charlie and George were brilliant throughout the offer to exchange period. We took longer than we expected to find our onward property but they kept an open line of communication with ourselves and our buyer to manage expectations and timescales throughout. If you are looking to sell or buy Between the Commons, I really wouldn’t hesitate to get in touch with this dynamic and driven team. Their results speak for themselves.

Daniel's customer service is great

Before Daniel F joined the team I struggled a bit with Dexters (hence the 3 stars). Often things would not be done, people wouldn't log when there had been a visit to my flat so more would be booked in and there were lack of updates at times which felt frustrating. However after dealing with Daniel F it feels like things are changing for the better and if I had always dealt with Daniel I would prob give Dexters a 5 star rating. Great customer service, always keeps me informed and gets things moving which I really appreciate!

Monika is the only reason for the 5*'s rating

I don't usually write reviews but credit is overdue - Monika Piszczyk - property management - is the ONLY reason I am giving Dexters in Hendon 5*'s. She is someone who actually listens, cares about people and gets things done as soon as something arises!! Monika always goes completely above and beyond and has helped us with so many things in our flat that we have had problems with for YEARS that Dexters knew about but was left and unsolved - for example a mould issue within the flat - which was only taken seriously when we spoke to Monika. Multiple other problems have happened & I can hand on heart say Monika is the only person working in Dexters that we trust 100%! I have been with Dexters for years now and the only ONLY time things have been sorted, documented, updated and taken seriously was when Monika contacted us and became our property manager - before this it was a complete circus and if I went into detail about everything that went wrong, unseen to etc, it would take up this rating entire page!! Monika is an absolute asset to your company and I am not even joking when I say she deserves a payrise for dealing with so many things and being such an understanding person in every scenario because without her, Dexters is an actual joke. Thank you Monika for always helping us and being someone who is genuinely reliable and kind within that company, I really hope they value you and what you do for other properties that you manage.

Excellent service

Dexters have been excellent in the process of me moving flat. Charlotte Rule showed me some amazing properties covering exactly what aspects I was looking for. Once I found a flat I loved Charlotte was exceptional in making the signing as smooth as possible though quick responses to any questions I had and making this as seamless as possible. Daniel Faulkner is a great property manager as he was quick to get in contact with me to ensure I had all the information I needed coming up to moving day. Both Charlotte and Daniel have been highly professional and had excellent communication skills making moving flat a much less stressful experience from what I had expected. Thanks to you both! Dishonest and a complete waste of time

Phoned to enquire about 4 different properties listed on their website. All 4 have apparently "recently accepted offers" despite none of them being listed as "under offer" on Dexter's website.Megan told me the sellers asked them to keep the properties as avaialble in case their agreed upon sales fell through. As a buyer, it is a complete waste of my time looking at properties that aren't actually available and that have already been sold. How am I meant to work with an agency that displays a complete lack of regard for its clients or their time?Buying a home is usually a significant decision in the purchasers life. Being dishonest from the outset is not a good way of establishing trust and this makes it almost impossible to use Dexters for my property search. I would advise sellers to bear that in mind when making the decision about who they want representing them and the buyers they are potentially losing out on as a result.I'm am sure that Megan is an excellent agent and I hope that one day she wakes up to the unscrupulous practices Dexter's employ and recognises that these are actually detrimental to hers and her clients relationships and (as a result) her long-term interests.

Dexters took my flat in march.Despite good Communication weekly they failed to gain any offers.Their strategy seems to be , for you to keep reducing the price.I appreciate the market is tough but to get a call saying we do not want to sell this flat anymore left me flabbergasted.Clearly must look bad on their stats!They have removed my listing without any notice period at all.Such poor service from an agents that claims to be one of the best.Poor customer show from George and the team at the twickenham sales office.
