I can highly recommend Chestertons! I have worked with a few letting agencies but this experience really stood out. My agent, Jasmine Birungi went out of her way to answer all of my questions promptly, and supported me throughout the process with a smile. Chestertons operates a portal to upload and store documents, see where you are & what tasks you have, which makes it seamless. The move-in went similarly well, with ample communication on availabilities and all.

Putney Chestertons and Stephen O'Connell in particular - absolutely awful. Refused to reply once to multiple phone calls, emails and even hid in the office to avoid me. Attempted to DOUBLE our rent, and when I finally managed to see him in the office, his reply - "Not my problem". Avoid at all costs, as being a 6 year impeccable tenant did nothing to help the nightmare of dealing with this company, and particularly Stephen O'Connell and Property Manager Joyce Sorkpor and her manager Anna Bartczak. These three in particularly utterly useless at their jobs, and standard customer service response was either "Not my problem" or "Sort it yourself". Avoid unless you want a stream of endless issues such as no working oven for 6 months (including over Xmas), section of the house roof falling off (another 6 months) and too many others to mention. Joke staff embarrassing an otherwise previously reputable company. I for one will never trust them again. Utterly appalling.
