If i could give 0 stars I would. Terrible estate agents. Manager (gregg) is rude and unprofessional. Everything I asked was agreed then he done what he wanted to do. Stay away. You will thank me later. Douglas Allen are the kinda company that give estate agents a bad name. Use bear, honest and professional

where do i start the online portal doesn't work so was unable to look at viewings feedback etc , even told them it does not work 8 yes eight times . constantly wanted us to drop the price of our property after being with them for a few weeks. These guys couldn't sell a house if they tried all they are interested in is there cut(money) which is exorbitant compared to other agents around.

I have a rental flat which Douglas Allen have let for me. I met Paris at the flat and she understood the situation i was in immediately. She offered excellent advice. The flat was let within a week, checks done, deposit received. Paris's follow up work was very thorough and the local DA office were very helpful. The back office team have been quick to respond and sort out issue. Would highly recommend Douglas Allen.

I recently bought a house through the Walthamstow branch of Douglas Allen. I found them very helpful. The process itself was very lengthy - not due to Douglas Allen, just due to various complications - but the team were very supportive. I dealt personally with Rob Stiff and with Andrew Bilby, who handled the sales progression, and with Faisal Hussain, who works for Mortgage Matters Direct. I found all of them very professional and helpful.

“Having walked into the busy branch a lady approached me and offered her assistance. I was really thankful that she did because she managed to book me a mortgage appointment, which then secured me a fantastic mortgage. I only later found out that the lady that helped me was a branch secretary called Allison. Everyone in the office was really friendly and overall a much better service than any other on the high street

I am afraid thay my experience was negative and after agreeing a % for commission with me an unnamed meber of the team decided that this conversation would be conveniently forgotten and a new and higher % would be quoted. Unfortunately this company do bear out the reputation of Estate Agents being untrustworthy, slippery and after one thing and one thing only - a sale. Beware and my advice would be to go elsewhere.
