I can honestly say that my wife and I wouldn't have been able to move into our new house without the efforts of the Chancellors team in Wallingford - Louise, Richard and Neil - and also Michael in their 'back-office' team. Not only did they work really hard to find a buyer for us, they helped overcome a number of obstacles that arose with both our sale and purchase. They always had our interests at heart and worked hard for us. I'd recommend them to anyone looking to sell.

The process of buying your first home is never easy and is certainly stressful, but thankfully we had a brilliant estate agent who ensured that the process was as pain free as possible - Louise Taplin. We still had our fair share of difficulties along the way (caused by solicitors), but Louise ensured that she kept us updated of every development that took place, and often went out of her way to resolve any issues as quickly as possible. This included putting up with my 20 phone calls per day, which Louise dealt with both quickly and professionally. Overall, I have been very happy with the service that I received from Chancellors (Louise in particular), and would happily recommend them to anyone.

Selling your house is never an easy experience, but I felt I couldn't have chosen a better agent. I immediately felt at ease with David from the moment he walked into my house and was impressed with his marketing strategy and attention to detail. Having had to re-market my house after a succession of failed sales, within the first 2 weeks I'd had three offers, two asking price and one over. I have now exchanged and looking forward to moving and am extremely grateful for the support and customer care I received from the team and I can't thank them enough.

The worst Estate Agents I have ever dealt with in 10 years. So unprofessional and no one seems to have the slightest clue. I am constantly chasing for updates and reports that are outstanding. I am confused as to what I am paying for. Would definitely not renew my contract.

Very dishonest and unprofessional letting agents - possibly the worst of all. They have no clue what they are doing. Being a landlord for 10 years, I have never seen anyone like them and would definitely avoid them at all costs. Unfortunately, I had to learn it the hard way which costed me 2 months rent and loss of personal time chasing rent arrears from a tenant all because of their fault which they agreed to but gone back on it and denied to pay the losses.

I have genuinely never encountered such bad customer service. Once an offer accepted they literally don't care about their clients. They don't keep in contact or chase up the buyers and they hand you over to a separate office so noone seems to know what's going on.

Absolutely horrendous. If you're ok with breach of data protection and disclosure of your personal finances to your ex-husband, hey, go with Chancellors. They are SO inept, unbelievably arrogant, inordinately incompetent and even with numerous court demands, they refused to engage. At your peril.

Recommendation for Jenny Dowden for her professional conduct and caring demeanor. She has been highly attentive and swift-acting throughout the process of me letting my property. She clearly takes great personal pride in delivering the best level of service possible and is a real asset to the Chancellor's team.

Absolute shambles. I wish I could take the stars away. They do nothing apart from robbing people without giving the service. Started with Daniel from the Sunbury office who promised us of great customer service and communication. Daniel along with his team at sunbury hardly communicated and their specialist team had no clue when they spoke to me over the phone. A sale that would normally take couple of months took over five months to complete. When I layed the frustation out to the senior directors they first asked me to pay their fees. Once I paid the fees they just told me to that there is nothing they can do. Plz plz plz do not deal with this company. You will regret your decision for ever

We have had the pleasure of dealing with Jayne Morris originally from the Kington branch, who helped us almost 2 years ago with our rental search. She had ideas and inspirations for us, before we even moved in. Nothing was a problem and she would always plan to see us, for viewings, when convenient with myself and my partner. Since we have lived here, Jayne has always gone above and beyond with helping us and sorting any problems out, highly recommended.

I was delighted with the excellent service I received from Declan Hartigan at Chancellors. I called one morning on the off chance there were any vacant properties to view that afternoon and he arranged a viewing within a couple hours. I loved the property and was able to make an application in minutes. The entire process has been smooth as Declan has kept me well-informed and immediately answered any queries I've had. Also, the entire process was completed within a week! The help and efficiency I have received from Chancellors has taken the stress away from moving house!

I rent a flat via Chancellors and I have not seen people more UNPROFESSIONAL in my whole life. They only care about taking your money at the beginning of the process and making up ridiculous excuses to keep the money of your deposit at the end. NEVER AGAIN!

As a contractor working with Chancellors has been great the refurbishment dept and property managers are friendly and helpful. Casey Gramson and Elysia Phillips have been fantastic to work with. They help greatly to get jobs completed, relaying information to Landlords and tenants.

with advice asking us to market our house at over 30k less than value, plus a lack of competence, we regret ever signing up with Chancellors. waiting for the contract to end so we can go with more competent estate agents.

absolutely appalling service. i cancelled the contract with them within the 14 days period due to a change in circumstances. they never even visited the property to take photos and it was never placed on rightmove. what followed was 4 months of debt letters, demanding paying costs. now been sent a county court letter. completely ignored when i challenged the costs, taken off in under 7 days. disgusting level of service. NEVER use this agent.

David and Alan have provided an excellent experience when selling our house. From the first meeting with David when he gave me useful pointers to show the house off to its best, to the feedback we received after every viewing, followed by the easy communication once we had found a buyer, David and Alan both did their utmost to ensure we were clearly informed and knew exactly what was going on with our sale, and even supported with communication between our solicitors. We were previously on the market with a competitor for a number of months, but I wish we had chosen Chancellors from the outset. I would definitely endorse Chancellors as the best Agent in Wallingford, and am consistently impressed by their professionalism.

Worked with Oliver Marsden and couldn't really ask for more. Efficient, responsive and helpful. Have worked with plenty of other estate agents who could learn a thing or two from Oliver!

The Estate Agent merrily helped themselves to my backdoor keys during a property viewing, unknown to me at the time, which caused me unnecessary cost and inconvenience during my subsequent house move.
