We used Reeds Rains, Walderslade, to sell a piece of land. Dan Riby valued and promoted the land initially, and Jill Galton took charge of the continuation of sale. We lost a buyer, initially, which was no fault of theirs but they swiftly secured another buyer and worked tirelessly to final completion. Dan was incredibly helpful with regard to pricing and marketing and Jill continued with the excellent service from then on. My wife and I would have no problem using their services again and recommend highly.

Was willing to under sell our property to make a quick sale (on the first viewing), as didn't want to do viewings (tried everytime to get us to do the viewings ourselves for the first one and others that where in the pipeline) they said they had local knowledge, but Karen tried to get us to accept an offer £5000 less than minimum we where told we should expect by two other estate agents. Didn't care we were struggling to get the budget to buy somewhere we wanted to move to (Karen actually said 'at least you found somewhere' with a don't care attitude). In the end went to Wards and less than 2 weeks later they got us £13,000 EXTRA and showed us that was what we should have expected in the first place. A horrible experience, which could have cost us dearly. To your response, we did take the offer as we trusted the advice of Karen and she in her own words 'strongly recommended' that we took the offer of £180,000. We thought she was giving us expert advice, as that what we were paying for. But were struggling to move on what we got so decided to try Wards and not even two weeks later we got £13,000 more. What would contacting you directly achieve? Now that we are settled in our new home I thought we would let the truth be known. I could show you the offer letters from yourselves and the one we received from Wards.

Sophie bass at Reeds rains called me whilst my property was on the market with another estate agent. It had been on the market for about 4 weeks with no real interest. Sophie not only agreed to price match the service of this other estate agent but also took new photos and met with me the very same day. In less than a week we have found some fantastic tenants to move into the property and I couldn't be happier with the service I have received. Not only that the tenants said that they really loved the way Reeds rains treated them too. So all round smiling faces!! Thank you so much Sophie.

I am a strong believer that an organisation should be judged not on how they navigate you through a service for the first time, but how they resolve an issue. Reeds Rains (in particular Alison at the Walderslade branch) encountered a problem on a refund with myself and they truly went above and beyond to fix the mistake. The Customer Service was outstanding and the issue was resolved in a timely manner. Cannot fault this company or branch and would recommend to others in a heart beat. Very happy tenant.

Reeds Rains are a very professional, helpful and structured organisation. We have been renting from them for over a year now and whenever we have an issue the lettings team in particular Alison get this resolved promptly and accurately. We recently found ourselves without heating and hot water late one evening, we reported this via email and in the morning was called by Alison and the by the end of the day the problem was sorted and everything was back to normal. I would highly recommend Reeds Rains.

We have been using the lettings service for years now and have recently added some more houses to our portfolio. It's been a bit of a crazy time where we have needed 4 lots of tenants one after the other - but seriously, nothing daunts the lettings team! Sophie and Alison are amazing - whether it's dealing with finding new tenants, dealing with issues that arise during a tenancy, or just the boring paperwork and regulations, it's always been stress-free. It’s been a pleasure dealing with all of the Reeds Rains team during our recent house sale. They were always efficient and professional, yet open and honest. Anything we asked for was accommodated and calls were always promptly returned or followed up with an email. The level of communication was spot on all the way through. It’s a shame that the other estate agents and solicitors in the chain couldn’t match this level of service as the whole process would have been much easier!
