GoogleHodsons have been absolutely incredible through my entire tenancy and the termination of it. My landlord decided he wanted the property vacant and Hodsons handled this with the uttermost care, being sympathetic towards the situation and keeping an eye out for other properties to suit my needs and my budget. I cant thank them enough for everything they have done for me. Would highly recommend them to anybody, ive rented for many years before and Hodsons are by far up there in my top 3 estate agents used.

GoogleExcellent service and well worth their fee. They are down to earth and really follow up start to finish, glad I went with them over a online cheaper estate agent. They also provide professional photography my house looked its best and sold within a week! If you want a estate agent to trust with a house sale I would definatly recommend Hodson's. James and Louise dealt with my house sale they were brilliant.

GoogleWe chose Hodsons for James Clarke's quiet professional manner, honest assessment and evidenced based knowledge of the local market. We had a lot of interest and sold quickly indicating the price point was correct and the marketing appealing. Any issues arising have been promtly and professionally dealt with, keeping the process moving. My husband and I have been very satisfied with and grateful for the service Hodsons provided and feel it was excellent value for money. We would thoroughly recomend Hodsons to others.

GoogleHodsons sold my house earlier on this year. From the start they have been professional and did everything they could to get the sale over the line. I was constantly kept informed of the progress and they were very quick to answer any questions that I had. It was touch and go towards the end as to whether or not the exchange would go through but they pulled out all stops to ensure that the buying solicitor had all they needed to exchange. They certainly had their clients interests at heart and did what they could to ensure it worked out. Thanks again, highly recommend their services, they are a great team!

Excellent communication with Louise, the sales manager, once we had accepted an offer. We felt like we got value for money for the selling fee we paid.

GoogleI live in Oxford and wanted to sell my flat in Wakefield, I wasn’t familiar with Estate Agents in the area so after some research on RIGHTMOVE I called all the Estate Agents who were/had sold properties where my flat was based. I called about 5 in total, James Clarke the Managing Director of HODSONS returned my call promptly and was the only agent who didn’t promise the earth, say ridiculous things like “oh flats there are selling like hot cakes”; “we can sell for x£k”, etc. I was impressed with his honestly, I explained my constraints i.e. where I lived, the flat would be vacant so every day it was costing me lost rent, electric, council tax etc. The flat went on RIGHTMOVE about 29/30 December and as soon as offices opened after the New Year on 4 January, I was receiving details of viewings together with feedback. After 5 days we received an offer at the full asking price and completed on 31 March 2022. James and I had discussed the value of the property, I didn’t want to be greedy plus I had listened carefully to his expert and professional opinion. In fact, one offer we received was from someone who had offered in the region of £15k more on another property until he saw mine. This property is still on the market. I am not saying there weren’t any bumps in the journey to completion but I can honestly say I used my instinct to go with James and together with his staff they did not disappoint. HODSONS went way and above the call of duty, I needed to trust someone who would support me and I was so lucky. I asked for a recommendation regarding solicitors in the area and they were also outstanding. I went as far to ask if HODSONS could expand their business to the south! I would have no hesitation in recommending them.
