About EweMove Wakefield

Hi, we're Rob, Sally & William. We love being Estate Agents and helping people find a solution to their home moving needs. We've lived here all our lives and quite simply love it, there is not much we don't know about the local area so ask away and we will do our best to help! We have lived in and around the area all our lives. Growing up with our families then eventually meeting at Wakefield New College, getting married then starting a family of our own. We had a bad experience buying and selling a house and thought, "we can do this better!". Rob has held senior positions in the telecommunications sector working for some big corporate brands while Sally was a teacher and head of department in a local school. We needed a change though, and realised there is a huge gap in the industry for some honest, open and customer focused service. We have since utilised all the transferable skills we have developed over the years to create a fantastic local business, that people seem to love! We love what we do and nothing is too much trouble for our customers. We make ourselves available to suit the customers needs to achieve a great price for the seller and build great relationships with buyers. Our customers become friends and people we know will come back to us in future. The majority of our business comes from word of mouth referrals which says everything about us that you need to know! I would fully recommend EweMove, Will Frost really went the extra mile for me and was on hand from the word go, answering calls & messages at all times. It was all the more impressive having my property sold and off the market on the first day of listing! Will supported us with our property sale which recently completed. He marketed the house very well and we were able to achieve asking price. Had no issues with service throughout, very approachable and always responded promptly which was key. Would certainly use Ewemove/Will again.

After eagerly awaiting for the completion on the house we had purchased, we were informed by Will to collect the keys from the top of an old paint tin from the shed in the rear garden. Many thanks for the fabulous customer service!!

Hi Ian, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I am truly sorry that the final handover didn't live up to your expectations and that the experience felt lacking at the end. For some context, we had arranged for the vendor to hand the keys over directly on this occasion. 35 minutes after I let you know you could head over, the vendor notified me that they had to leave with their removal team for their move to York. To avoid making you wait over an hour for me to travel back to the area to retrieve the keys, the vendor left the keys in a secure spot in the shed and sent over the photo. In hindsight, I see how this was a frustrating way to receive the keys to your new home, and I apologise for misjudging the situation. I really appreciate your feedback, as it helps us improve. Wishing you all the very best as you settle into your new home.

From the initial valuation it was clear that Rob had done his homework and was willing to listen. His approach was different to the other estate agents I had seen. After signing up on the Monday, working together with clear and rapid communication the property was on-line for sale by Friday lunchtime with beautiful pictures and a write-up which summed up what we had loved about the house we was selling and the village it was in. Viewing were held over that weekend with more in the pipeline. Rob knew everyone's position, and by Sunday we had two good offers, and Monday the sale was agreed. During the quick sale to completion process Rob kept in contact with both myself and the buyer, helping to resolve where on the buyers side they was being let down by their solicitor. I would highly recommend Rob and his wife to sell your house, a genuine nice person who is really good at his job.
