I have had quite a few questions and support requests towards two of our rental properties that will be occupied by tenants towards the end of January next year, and Rebecca Fields proved to be EXTREMELY helpful resolving most of the issues herself or contacting the relevant Chancellors staff that could resolve this issues I have been dealing with.

GooglePleasant to start, but ultimately poor processes, service and communications. I viewed a number of properties with intentions to purchase earlier this year. The team in Abingdon are good at organising viewings, but once I’d made an offer and the paperwork was complete, the whole process took on another dynamic. The agent managing the sale became really difficult to get hold of, the team you’re passed onto within their center processing team are as good as the information provided to them, which was clearly lacking. Lots of back and forth, really challenging to communicate with, multiple points of contact. I almost lost the purchase due to frustration from me and the seller. There are many better agents out there.

GoogleWe chose Chancellors because we had Lisa (the manager at Abingdon) visit us regarding the prospective sale of our house in the past, we found her not only very professional but had an effervescent enthusiasm about the service she would provide. When it came to selling our plot of land we obviously felt she would be the right person to deal with the sale. As it turned out she initially engaged the services of her associate Neil Jones as this was his area of expertise, he did the exploratory work giving Lisa the framework on which to take it to market. From then on Lisa's work was exemplary in the way she dealt with it subsequently achieving an excellent result. We cannot recommend Chancellors' Abingdon highly enough and would not hesitate to use them again should the need arise.

GoogleWhen my flat was being let Chancellors were very good at quickly finding me reliable tenants. I decided to sell and Alex and his team marketed the property and I had some offers. The final offer was accepted and Chancellors gave me regular updates during the conveyancing process. The flat has now been sold - Thankyou.

The market has been exceptionally busy, but India has remained highly professional throughout and has made us feel genuinely considered in our search. GoogleAn ok experience with Chancellors Abingdon. Ultimately, I have managed to move using Chancellors, but I wasn't completely impressed with the assistance received. I felt very rushed at the viewing (having about 3 minutes to view before being made to feel like I had to leave for the next people viewing). I very much understand that letting agents have a lot of viewings to get through in the day, but I think it could have been handled more professionally. We were also given incorrect information during this short viewing, with the agent briefly saying it was a 2-bed, when it was 1-bed, that no one lived below (untrue) and that the parking space directly outside the property was for my car (it was not, rather it was around the corner). I also was less-than-impressed with being called in the middle of the workday on a few occasions, being told to phone back, when what was said could have easily been put in an email I could've responded to when available. Like I said, I was glad Chancellors helped to get everything sorted, but I think several things could have been more professional.
