I honestly have nothing bad to say. I was recently given notice during covid to leave my house I was renting by another agent as the landlord wanted to sell which stressed me out so so much and I come across a property with Romans Basingstoke. Had a viewing and secured it straight away. The agents were amazing. Maddie the little diamond made sure the entire process and through my referencing was as smooth as possible keeping me up to date with everything. And Molly made sure all my documents and info was sent on time and any questions I had were answered quick time. If you want to rent a house - speak to Maddie in Basingstoke branch. She is amazing and made it enjoyable instead of stressful. And between Maddie and Molly it was the most stress free experience 🤍🤍 I was also able to do the no deposit option which was a really good solution for me !! I’m now all moved in, settled and ready to enjoy my beautiful new home. Thanks girlies xx

We dealt with Alfie Birch in the Uxbridge branch of Romans. I cannot speak highly enough of Alfie and his professionalism. Alfie made the process easy and stress free and really went out of his way to make finding a new home as easy as possible for us. Alfie happily fitted into our manic schedule to do viewings on rental properties, was an expert guide through the reference checks; legalities and paperwork and even ensured that a last minute maintenance issue was fixed in record time so that we could move in on time. Since we have moved in and settled Alfie has send me a friendly mail from time to time just to see how we're settling in and enjoying our new home. I would recommend Alfie without hesitation, and one day when we decide its time to move again Alfie will be the first person that I call.

"Roman's" in Uxbridge have recently rented out 2 of my properties to excellent tenants, who are paying excellent rent. My first point of contact with "Roman's" was Alfie Birch, and from this very first phone call he was very professional and helpful in every way. The whole process of finding new tenants, and moving them in happened in just a few days, and so as I live in Australia it was so good to know that Alfie Birch and Dale Craft were handling everything very efficiently and I didn't have to worry at all. I placed my property on the rental market early January, perhaps not the optimum time to do so as activity tends to be slow, however Alfie Birch from the Romans Uxbridge office quickly and pro-actively got onto it and soon identified suitable tenants, who have since moved in. Alfie was enthusiastic from the start and oversaw the entire management process, answering a good number of questions that arose. Without Zara from Romans, I literally would not be where I am today, in my first flat! From the viewing to receiving the keys yesterday, Zara ensured that all my questions were answered, that she was always easily accessible, and that I had the most pleasant, stress-free experience finding my first flat. So much so, in fact, that when I had missed the chance to make a deposit on the flat, she called me at the first opportunity to inform me that the flat was available on the market again. This demonstrates not only her incredible accountability, but also her genuine and personable personality, which enables her to connect with those she works with in a personalized way so as to better help them and provide them with a sense of reliability and ease in the process. These qualities in Zara were further accentuated in her regular calls, checking up and updating me on new developments and her overall friendliness in every interaction. Dear Romans Another angry and unsatisfied Romans- Bracknell Tenant. Sadly the rate is the least provided. I would rate Romans 0. Why are tenants charged for things they have not damaged?? And How come Romans still get away?? Maybe someone brave enough has to commit suicide for this to change?? Being charged £155 for nails in the walls.??? Never put pictures up in a renting accommodation. Wouldn’t even know how to insert a pin. Was nearly charged for a missing freezer tray yet evidence was there in the inventory- no apologies nothing, Donna B- hope you get rich and this money changes your life- oh wait thus the money Romans refunded me when l moved in due to the incompetence of Danniella Rose- so basically Romans is claiming it back. Should have taken them to court for attempted manslaughter- maybe then they can make changes. Disappointed is the les l can say. Always draining Tenants. Renting private is not a choice. I bet the landlord is unaware of these charges and all going into the property manager’s tax free pocket. I have sent the current tenants both inventory’s hope they don’t get charged for the same things. Tenant helping another tenant. I’m sure they will find this useful. Donna enjoy my money worse that lm currently unemployed. I think this is why they use different clerks from check in and out. Careful Tenants if you have Jess M on your check. In it with Romans- she’s the weapon they use to retrieve the money. Most rude and disrespectful person. Not at all happy.

The move manager, Kassandra hopkins and Carl at the windsor branch have been excellent! All queries answered, the whole buying process was very smooth. My agent Molly and Carl are fantastic! Incredible staff. My property manager Megan Setchell has always gone above and beyond to help resolve any issues I might have and it’s brilliant to see this is not just specific to Megan as Chloe Chikaviro was fantastic when it came out to the checkout process. She has taken out all the stress with her efficiency. I’m gutted to be leaving Romans but unfortunately they don’t cover the area I’m moving to yet, one can only hope soon!I’d highly recommend renting through Romans and will always choose them where possible.
