I previously had another agent instructed to sell my property. However, they did not generate any offers at all. I went with this agent in the first place as opposed to Romans because they were cheaper. Saad Mushtaq was monitoring the property on Rightmove and realised it had not sold yet and called me directly. After a bit of persuasion, I changed agents and instructed Romans. Saad and his team were terrific in generating viewings. Arun Desoura was crucial in getting a viewer from another property to view my property. That consequently led to the offer being put in and accepted. Romans have been fantastic in getting the property off the market. The buyers were very slow in progressing with the legal process, however, we have now successfully exchanged. Lorraine was good at chasing the other side.

I would absolutely NOT recommend to use Romans Uxbridge agency to rent a property. They have been efficient for me to move in but are a NIGHTMARE since I moved out... There is a massive lack of communication. Romans have been ignoring me for 1 month now! Not returning calls, not answering any emails. My deposit has been agreed with my landlord more than 1 month ago with absolutely no issue and I completed the form Romans asked me to get it back and since then, nothing! I did not get my money back, they are not answering me, not even let me know what is going on. They are basically holding my money and just ghost me! Unbelievable in those uncertain Covid time to leave people like that.... I do not know what to do and will probably have to get the help of a solicitor for Romans to give my deposit back to me and my landlord.

Recently sold our house via Romans Uxbridge. Was a bit apprehensive about putting out house on the market in lockdown but Sad was great from the outset and we are able to proceed. Massive shout out to Arun who was great when arranging viewings. Everything was coordinated perfectly, in a safe manner and we were given enough notice as well. Feedback was always provided within 24hrs. Got a very good offer after a few viewings and we were happy to close the deal. I recently rented a property from Romans. It was my first time renting and I found the agent Zara was very helpful, polite and efficient. She communicated with me at all times during the process. When I moved into the property and had minor issues with the property, she dealt with all my concerns in an effective and professional manner and sorted it. Our fridge-freezer was broken beyond repair and we emailed our property manager BenjaminNujeerallee. Ben was on it from day 1 and we had a Homecare cover from our landlord.The engineer visited the next day and in a couple of days our landlord had submitted all documents needed for a nee fridge.Ben liaised with them for us and a nee fridge was delivered to us in a reasonable time

100% do not recommend!

I tried to buy a house with Romans Bracknell. I would not wish to repeat the experience! The viewing and initial negotiation went well, and everyone I spoke to at this stage was very pleasant. I wanted to move before the stamp duty freeze ended, but the people I was trying to buy from went suspiciously quiet at the beginning of June for about two weeks. My solicitors chased twice a day, every day with no response from their solicitors, and the Move Manager was unable to get any information to me either. Obviously it was a time of extremely high demand and very stressful for all concerned, but the lack of communication compounded this - and - upon reflection, I now think was deliberate stalling tactics.Eventually at the last minute (as I completed the sale of my property and was ready to exchange) I was told the sellers were not prepared to inconvenience themselves and move out in time for me to take advantage of the stamp duty holiday. I think they hoped as we were so far down the line, I would not walk away.I received a call from someone senior at Romans which was aggressive and actually quite threatening. I would not recommend this person speak to anyone (let alone a female) in this manner again. He told me they would market the property again for more money if I withdrew my offer, and that his clients were not willing to disrupt themselves or bear the cost of breaking the chain to move out earlier than 30th June. Unfortunately he was unable to advise of what date they could move out - effectively rendering me homeless for an indefinite amount of time!By pure fluke, I put an enquiry in to view another house and spoke to the agent at the top of the chain who advised me of the potential move date. It took Romans a further week to communicate this date to me. I withdrew my offer as my circumstances changed, and I felt there was a basic lack of respect for my time and costs. I understand the fees are ultimately paid by the sellers, but they can only be paid when someone buys! If there had not been a delay, I would - without question - have bought the property. But the attitude displayed to me has put me off ever dealing with this agent again. There are other, much more reputable agents in the local area, who must find it frustrating when their deals are ruined by others.
