Hello from the Uxbridge branch team. We are extremely proud of our well-recognised office in the centre of town, close to the Underground station. We have been part of the community since 2007 and have helped thousands of people move to and within the neighbourhood, trading up as they outgrow their old home or downsizing as their children fly the nest. In some cases we have helped many generations of the same family move and much of our business remains word-of-mouth, such is our reputation in Uxbridge. Having a physical branch is an important part of being an Uxbridge estate agent, as it provides buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants a place to seek advice and reassurance. It also means we have our eyes open and ears to the ground where it matters most. Worst agency ever!! 4 months into the property they gave us notice to vacate the property becausr the landlord decided to sell the house. I explained Ketan how difficult it was for me to find a pet friendly place and the first thing I asked at the viewing was "what's the catch " it's a 2 bed house, cheap rent comparing to whats on the market, pet friendly. Ketan looked me in the eye and lied. "There is no catch Eva" 1st month in to the property we had a gas leak 4th month - water leak During checkout they charged £10 for a few hangers I left in the wardrobe and a total of £250 from our deposit. After, a back and forth emails they charged us £150. We were in the property for only 5 months and they charged an arm and a leg on "damage". This agency is simply a joke. They put the house for sale before they even told us.
Thank you for your review and I can fully understand your frustration and I am sympathetic towards the position this had put you in. This situation was out of our control and it was not known at the time; the landlord had a change in circumstances and decided to sell the house after over 20 years under our management. We gave you first opportunity to purchase when we were instructed by the client to try and help you. I hope you have now settled into your new home, and I personally wish you all the best.
