Nothing they build is adopted as it's poor quality and sub standard. Councils won't adopt because st modwen won't pay the initial 10 years maintence fees. It also means you as a resident have to pay for the upkeep of the estate even though anybody can drive down the roads or use the park you have to pay to maintain

We bought our home a Bramshall meadows not just for the house but for the community they said they were building - fast forward 4 years an nothing they promised has come true. No green space, laughable tiny and under stocked play area and no ‘local’ provisions. This is a huge estate, they’ve make a mockery of us all.

We purchased a house at Langford Mills, Taunton and have had an excellent experience throughout from sales through to site staff they have all been professional, helpful and very quick with any issues - of which there have been very few. The house build is excellent. I would absolutely recommend them as a company. We are very impressed. Jules and Ed Hutchings

Do not buy from these liars - they advertise green spaces and woodlands in their developments with the clear intention of destroying them to cram more houses in. Yet they still try to claim they want to “boost biodiversity at our developments and deliver new schemes in an environmentally responsible way”. Not sure how destroying acres of woodland fits into this.

GoogleThe worst example of customer service I have ever experienced. Over 100 snags so far with many still outstanding after 18 months. "Customer care" are uncapable of resolving and worse still, they are uninterested in communicating. I would never buy from St Modwen again.

GoogleSome one as dug up all the coping stone just over the bridge and it's such a Mudd bath could not bother to clean up .plus litter all over the skate park.and tier tracks all through the park hope they sort this out too

Dreadful customer care , st modwen are not interested once you've completed the customer satisfaction surveys . Reported an issue with gutters not installed properly over a month ago and they don't want to know . Will now have to pay someone to correct the issue due to poor installation.

The home I live in was sold with beautiful brochures full of woodlands. What they failed to mention was that was up until a few months ago a lie. They planned to bulldoze those woods to make way for more houses but have since had a u turn and decided against this. Don’t necessarily believe what you are told.

Really disappointed with this company who boasts that they work to help the environment, whist planning to destroy the ancient Meon Woods for more houses. People bought housing here on the understanding that the woods would remain and the locals who have used the woods are really devastated and fighting to stop this. Not a very popular company at all.
