Pleased with our recent purchase at the Beacons site 2 months ago, Kind and helpful staff. Alison was very helpful throughout the process. Very pleased with her service and the rest of the sales team. The site Manager has been really helpful as well. Our home is perfect and we couldn't have wished for more. Thank you all.

Morris Homes are dreadful house builders. Do not believe the NHBC rating - you are constantly harassed to share a good review before any issues come to light. The most appalling issue we have had was with our en-suite shower. The shower would not turn off and when we contacted the manufacturer (on the advise of Morris) we were told it could be turned off at the isolator valve. Back to contacting Morris and we are told that it is not in their specification to fit isolator valves, despite it being the manufacturers best practice. As a result we had to turn the water off for the entire house and turn it back on to use the taps, toilet, washing machine etc, all whilst the shower continuously ran. Morris could simply not care less, and told us it was not their responsibility - I would argue that it is your responsibility to build a house fit for purpose. Other issues:- The ground in the garden was so compacted and with so little top soil that the garden would flood whenever it rained. Morris would not take responsibility for this despite standing water being close to the property. - The roads and potholes on our development are a hazard to say the least, yet continuous complaints to Morris are ignored.- The road layout is so poor that two cars cannot pass safely around a bend.- Our hot water cylinder was not wired in correctly.- The quality of the finishes is appalling for the price paid.If you are thinking of buying a new build with Morris, I would seriously consider other house builders. Do not believe their sales pitch, their perfect show homes, and the promises they pedal.

Rivington View Estate, Chorley was completed aprrox 5 years ago. Morris Homes continue to take a fee yearly for maintenance, but do not carry out the maintence to anywhere near the standards they advertise in their glossy brochures. 2 foot weeds growing out of the highway. broken fences, roads still not adopted, collapsed manholes...........don't be fooled by the hard sell. Visit our estate first and look for yourself!!!

We have been looking for some time to find a new place to call home as we are needing more space as our boys are getting much bigger (all three of them). I was passing through Huntingdon, St Ives after taking my eldest Son to the aquatic’s at Dobbies Garden Centre and saw Houghton Grange development and decided to poke my nose in before taking my Son’s to the Dentist.I explained to Nikki the Sales Lady whom was in the office that we have had to widen our search area so to get the size house we are looking for and she pulled out all the particulars for all the sized houses we were looking for.She was so helpful in providing information on the development and said I will come back tomorrow with my Husband when I have more time to look around the site.

We moved into our new Morris home at Princes Meadows in Kirkham just over a year ago. The experience we have had to date has been second to none. Hannah and the site team were extremely helpful and always on hand to answer or deal with queries. Any issues/snags were dealt with efficiently and timely. The aftercare customer service has also been most notable.I would not hesitate to recommend Morris Homes Princes Meadows to any prospective customers.

Awful, awful builders with dreadful customer service and aftercare. They do not care about their consumers and are happy to leave us living for the last 2 years in a £600k house that has a leak and is not fit for purpose. The directors of the company also could not care less. I would never buy a house from them again and would advise anyone to think seriously before they make their purchase. Pay for a full snagging survey to be done before you move in to rectify all the building faults that there will be!

I moved into my new home in Dec 2024. As the summer approached I started to consider plans for the back garden. A month ago I contacted Morris Homes Customer Care team due to the condition of the back garden. The garden had bricks, breeze blocks, broken glass etc. and was covered in stones. The soil quality was also poor and a spade couldn't be inserted more than a few centimeters into the ground. I approached a few different companies all quoted around 10 ton of top soil being required to get the dirt Morris Homes left me with into a plantable condition. This is going to cost over £2,000.I have contacted the Morris Homes customer service team - they sent people to rotavate and stone pick - on completion the back garden is still just dirt and stones. I am due to have remedial garden work start tomorrow to fix the awful conditions Morris Homes have left me with. The current situation with the customer service team is that they will send someone to inspect the wasteland but that they need 7 days to do this. I have been very clear that I have garden work starting tomorrow. Be aware, raise all of your issues within the 7 days you have of moving in and make sure you put everything on your snag list (even if you're heavily pregnant at the time like I was and aren't interested in the garden) otherwise you won't get a resolution and will end up significantly out of pocket.Having spent nearly half a million pounds on a new home I would have expected Morris Homes to at least spend a few hundred on providing top soil. I'm beyond disappointed with my experience with the customer service team so far and beyond disappointed with the condition of waste land and dirt they consider acceptable to leave a customer with.

Moved here in 2018 , We have suffered several leaks and dodgy electrics!! With promises of completing the roads which are in awful condition 6 years later and guess what they still aren't completed ,the estate looks so awful and messy ,they are all nice and helpful when you buy the house , then after they leave don't expect any help or assistance with these problems would never buy a home from morris again just awful .

I never understand the bad press New Builds get in the media as we have been nothing but impressed with ours. We have lived in ours now for 2 and a half years and we still receive such support from Scott the Site Manager. Scott, as well as Ian, and Lynne & Jess in the Site office, are an asset to Shelbourne Homes (Morris Homes). We still love our home and its location and couldn’t be happier. I dread the day the site is finished and Jess, Lynn, Scott and Ian all move on as they have treated us like friends and I will be sad to see them move on! Although we are in our forever home now, if we ever needed to move again, I’d be looking at Shelbourne sites before anything else.

Myself and my Partner came to view the show homes early April as we are looking to move back up North to be closer to family. Spoke with Hannah on site who was more than happy to help show us around various 4 bed houses even though she was already busy showing other people around! She gave off great energy was so helpful with everything we asked!! Although we won’t be moving for at least another year she was so helpful!! Thank you so much and we will be back again to discuss further when the time is right :)

Absolutely disgusted with how we have been treated by Morris Homes. We had our dream home reserved at Downing Gardens, Gamlingay, for around 12 months. Due to marketing our homes during the worst mortgage rate crisis in recent history, it took a while to sell our properties subject to contract (myself and my partner both owned a property and were buying the Morris Home together). Once sold stc, my partner's sale fell through once, we then secured a new buyer who was in a chain. Due to a delay further down the chain which was out of our control, Morris decided to pull the plug on our purchase. This and the pressure put on us during the last months of our intended purchase was awful - we could do nothing but beg our solicitor to get us some answers. If this wasn't bad enough, we had also selected a number of upgrades for the property, paying around £6,000 in a deposit. Morris Homes are now refusing to refund us any of our money, stating that we signed forms at the time of ordering the upgrades which stated the deposit was non-refundable. We could accept this if we were the party that pulled out of the purchase, however it was Morris Homes themselves that collapsed our chain.AVOID AT ALL COSTS IF YOU WANT A PEACEFUL LIFE AND YOUR HARD-EARNED MONEY IN YOUR POCKET OR INVESTED IN A PROPERTY YOU ACTUALLY LIVE IN.

We went to take a look around the Prince's Meadows development in Kirkham without an appointment. We were made to feel very welcome by Hannah, who could not have been any more welcoming, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We were able to view a number of the different properties available with Hannah fully explaining all of the features and options, she also gave a full insight into the phased stages and took the time to understand what our key requirements were.
