GoogleAll the team at Peter Oliver Homes in Uckfield have been absolutely superb with the recent sale of a property. They are the stand out estate agent in the area, from the initial meeting, to photos, admin, communication and generally friendliness and professionalism. Having met with other agents in consideration, none of them came close to understanding my needs and translating these into the superb service they offer. I would recommend them very highly. No need to go anywhere else.

GoogleUNETHICAL AND IMMORAL is how I would describe this estate agent. It would appear that this agent gazumped my son's house purchase. He had a house under offer for over six months with another agent and on the MORNING OF EXCHANGE was told that the seller was pulling out and it transpired that the previous day Peter Oliver had accepted an offer on it for more money the day before exchange of contracts. Unprofessional and underhand does not even come close to describing this shoddy practice. Not only has it cost my son a couple of thousand pounds in legal fees and six and a half months, but he will also now miss the stamp duty offer should he find another property. An example of everything that is wrong with the house buying system in this country. Absolutley horrified with Peter Oliver for gazumping a sale that was over six months old on the day of exchange of contracts - and obviously the seller ( words fail me) for such immoral practice. This agent has no code of ethics or morals and should be avoided at all costs. When I called the owner of Peter Oliver he was not even sorry or apologetic. He has obviously not yet realised that you build a business on the decent treatment of people and a good solid reputation. Being responsible for the collapse of a house purchase on the morning of exchange is about as low as it gets. Unethical and immoral.NegativeQuality, Professionalism

GoogleI am so unbelievably grateful for everything Peter Oliver has done in getting my house sold. They have been so committed to firstly securing a sale and then in getting our contracts exchanged. Every member of staff has gone above and beyond at every stage, and every member has put high energy and passion into everything they have done. No matter when I ring the office, I am always greeted with cheer and I am forever amazed at how everyone in the office has knowledge on what was going on with my property. The whole team are sensational, and it is a real shame I am not planning on moving again, because I would love to use them again! GoogleStrong sales team, who made buying our house easier and less stressful. The team liaised with the vendor to permit a swift viewing and our subsequent offer was handled promptly and professionally. This would have been 5 stars, but unfortunately Peter Oliver fell short of expectations on sales progression. Regular chasers were needed and the team were not always readily available.
