I wouldn’t even give one star. They have unlawfully charged us for a check in inventory despite not providing us with one - leaving us v vulnerable as landlords. Continually having to chase for response. Put in a formal complaint and almost 3 months later and a number of emails later - still no resolution or even a response.

0 STARS NEGATIVE FEEDBACKWe and other lady were waiting for viewing near house at arranged time, Connels Estates Hinkley did not arrive. When we called them they said that left a message about cancellation. They lied people, nobody recieved their message. AVOID THIS ESTATE AGENTS!

****You have been warned**** please don't trust them, we put in an offer for a property the offer was accepted only if we used their own solicitors, Samantha the agent told us that if we use our own solicitor then the price would go up by 2k. Have informed ombudsmen and they need to look in to this practice.

Do yourself a favour and avoid this agent at all costs!!! They appear to either be completely oblivious to their already abysmal reputation or simply care little to do anything to change it. This agent will do little or nothing to keep you informed throughout the sales process and employ dated and/or verging on unethical sales practices to achieve their desired outcome.

Wouldnt even give them 1 star. Absolutely appalling the way they spoke to myself on the phone. They spoke to me like I was a child. They wasn’t helpful over the matter that had risen. The sooner I can get out of this house and away from them the god damn better.

I saw on Connells website a house I was very interested in buying. I kept calling them EVERY DAY to arrange a viewing. Spoke last on the phone with them today and being told they will call me back (same thing said few days ago) and no one did. Absolutely shocking. Worst estate agency.

GoogleI sold my property at the end of November with Connells and received great support from both Matt and Hamish. It was a difficult personal situation which they both understood and did their utmost to sell as quickly as possible for me at the best price. Very grateful for all their help! Thank you.

Conveyancing team messed up a bit which delayed the transaction and the team selling the mortgage services were pushy and annoying. BUT if I could give a separate review for Cameron and Emily they would get 5 stars, they were both delightful to deal with and went over and above to help us out!

GoogleSimply the way estate agents should be! Both Lara and Katie have made my moving experience professional, friendly and personable. Nothing has been too much trouble. A really enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend Connells Tunbridge Wells 10 out of 10.

Beware of any house sales involving Connells. They will appoint DC Law as solicitors (who are abysmal) because they take kickbacks from them. All deadlines missed. All emails ignored. No communication. Terrible company - avoid like the plague.

I rented out two properties by Connells and they totally mixed up my account. They promised to refund my fee charge but I haven't received a refund in my account. After I called them multiple times, they said they would send a cheque for me but they didn't. It's been 4 months and I still haven't got my money back.

Honestly the worst experience Ive ever had! From selling to letting they are absolutely useless! No one know what they are doing, no one cares, there unbelievably rude, there seriously unprofessional and terrible at there jobs! Do not use this company! They are a joke!!!

Once the sale has been made all interest is lost in the property and service is non-existent. No sale progression or follow up. Very poor service.I was also recommended their in-house conveyancing team (conveyancing direct) who give a similarly poor service.I wouldn't consider using the Connells group again.

Connells secured me 3 offers above expectation and were extremely helpful and accessibility throughout the sales process. Although one sale fell through (as a result of commercial restrictions on the property) Connells were very quick to drum up new interest and were on hand to deal with any concerns I had. I have no hesitation in recommending this company

The agent that was sent to do our viewings in Exeter didn’t know anything about the properties. Not the EPC, not if it was in a chain, not what the parking situation was. It’s already hard to accept agents’ dishonesty, when they’re also incompetent it really makes it an unbearable experience.

Absolutely furious with Connells under valuation on a btl property fully returned to a high standard costing 45k purchased for 220k so costs 265k yet Connells valued it at 265k...unreal when other property similar fetches 300 to 325k ....shocking company would never use them again and any lender associated with them.

Sale fell through and they won't give me back the money that i paid to the solicitors! That money never even reached the solicitors so it should be refunded but they are refusing. NEVER use them or their conveyancing team! Scammers and Frauds! Plus the money they took is more than the cost of usual searches.
