Moving to a new country meant discovering a completely different rental system, and from our very first conversations while looking for a home, the team made the whole process feel much easier. They were kind, approachable and professional, and we particularly appreciated how supportive they were of our search with a dog at a time when finding a pet-friendly rental was far from easy. What has stood out even more over the past year is the quality of the ongoing service. Whenever something has needed attention in the house, we’ve always felt comfortable reaching out, even when several small maintenance issues happened to come up over time. Everything has been handled professionally, with great communication and consistent follow-up, without ever making us feel like we were being a nuisance. A special thank you to Billie, who has been looking after our tenancy for many months now. I would like to recommend Mark Abbott and his colleagues at Cooke Curtis in looking after an extremely tedious leasehold sale, where the other side's lawyer decided to adopt delays and impractical positions, and where the purchaser was unable to instruct her lawyer effectively. During 11 months, Cooke Curtis hung in there, chivvying the lawyers and the purchaser to move the transaction along, and at the same time making sure that the original price agreed with the purchaser was sustained. Long trek, lots of elbow grease, and efforts in keeping goodwill in the groove, but we got there in the end. Thank you!

Avoid at all costs. My experience with these people was genuinely shocking. I have dealt with many businesses over the years, and lived in numerous countries, and can honestly say this was one of the most unpleasant experiences I have encountered. To make matters worse, I was made to deal with ‘Billie’ handled my enquiries with a level of rudeness and hostility that I have hardly seen before, and it’s completely unacceptable. Rather than listening and attempting to assist, she repeatedly interrupted, would cut me off and adopt a confrontational tone throughout every single conversation, when simply trying to obtain information and have a civil discussion regarding existing (and quite frankly urgent ) issues. What’s more, when escalating my concerns, management appeared entirely uninterested in addressing them. Instead of demonstrating professionalism, understanding, or a willingness to investigate the issues, every single time, we were met with a similarly dismissive attitude. It quickly became apparent that this behaviour is either tolerated or actively encouraged within the ‘company culture’. Issues were repeatedly brushed aside, such as being left without hot water for nearly a week, or locking our pet sitter out of the property and leaving my distressed dog inside for hours on end. Getting anyone to take ownership of the problem felt like a full-time job. I spent days constantly chasing for updates, making repeated phone calls and doing all the legwork myself just to get basic information. Hoenstly, the only thing that delayed our departure was the purchase of our lovely new build. There are plenty of letting agents out there. Do yourself a favour and choose literally any other one.

We received absolutely excellent service from start to finish. Julia was professional, efficient, and incredibly responsive throughout the entire process. What really set her apart was how she essentially managed the whole chain herself. She was always on hand to offer expert advice to both us and our buyers, and she spent countless hours liaising with and chasing the other estate agents involved. I genuinely believe that without Julia’s management, our chain would have fallen apart. It frequently felt like she was doing the jobs of all the other agents combined just to keep things moving! She was available at almost any time, even messaging us in the evenings, on weekends, and during her days off at key points in the sale to keep us informed or ensure a swift resolution to any questions.
