Sterling put us at ease straight away! Ben listened to us, ensuring we sold for our needs but gave realistic expectations too! Amy - our main go to was fantastic from start to finish! I can't recommend Sterling Estate Agents in Tring enough - they were fantastic in the selling of our home from start to finish. After being on the market previously and not selling (after so so many viewings), Ben visited and showed us the the Sterling way - they really know their stuff! They only hire the best agents and we felt really at ease, their values aligned with ours. The photos were stunning, the video they made for social media was very cool and even before launching on Right Move again we had 2 viewings - not much we thought but this was early days, we'd been here before. Well, one of the two put an offer in and we sold without ever having to re-list! We couldn't believe it! Amy was our Sales Negotiator, professional throughout, always available to answer our questions and led us through the sale beautifully. We also found Phil to be incredibly helpful and really couldn't fault Sterling in any way. Thanks Sterling team!

Agent would not pass on an offer without us first going through their in house mortgage approval process. Highly illegal. Edit* There was no misunderstanding. Finance proof was ready to be provided by either my AIP/DIP from MY mortgage company or via MY solicitor. Yet this was not good enough and agent insisted on sitting down with their in house sales team to buy their broker/solicitor referral products. When i explained i will not do so, which is my right, i was told i was being aggressive and hung up on, and now essentially ignored. This practice has been illegal for years and it was disappointing to see the tactics being used here. Sadly, their listing wont get another offer from me due to these underhand methods and the seller will lose out due to the situation. Cash buyer in a difficult market and house goes unsold... I will inform the owner directly as they have a right to know.
