I wanted to put in writing how grateful we are to Linda Christopher at the Gorey branch of Sherry Fitzgerald. When we set out on our home buying journey I was poorly prepared for what a difficult and stressful thing to do it can be. The one person that has stood out throughout the whole process is Linda. Her kindness, patience and most of all her willingness to offer her expertise to all aspects of the home buying process has been invaluable, and without her I would have almost given up! I’ve lost count of the number of times she has given clarity to what would have otherwise been an issue I had no understanding of. And that goes far beyond her role as an auctioneer. As an investor,developer and home owner I am hugely impressed by Liz Ryan of Sherry Fitzgerald's Phibsborough branch. I am more knowledgeable than most about the property market so can speak with experience and say that she is one of the best agents in the city. Liz is honest, professional, incisive, informative and empathic. She has a great knowledge of the Dublin 7 market. She offers no false hopes in order to get the business and is spot on in her predictions. She appeals to both buyers and sellers. As a seller I am impressed at how well she relates to buyers, always keeping all bidders on board, as often the highest bidder may pull out. When it happened in my case Liz assured me in her calm manner that it wasn't going to be an issue. I was especially impressed by the sensitivity Liz showed in selling the family home after my mother's death. Liz has handled two sales for me and I would have no hesitation in recommending her highly.

Very unprofessional when collecting…

Very unprofessional when collecting keys to our new home . Ignorant is an understatement. I quote "Here " from a staff member. Didn't relay any information through the process and even wanted to change last min prices on goods. Much wants more is what I get from them. Location Tralee ,Kerry. Keep away from them. Maybe retrain aon interpersonal skills as well .

Hillary, John and the team provided an exceptional service from the moment I contacted Hillary about selling a house to the delivery of keys to the new owner. Their expertise, knowledge, professionalism and diligence resulted in a swift and stress-free experience for me. Before putting up the 'for sale' sign, I asked Hillary for advice about preparing to sell the house. Hillary gave me excellent advice and John recommended and contacted relevant tradespeople on my behalf. Each of the tradespeople recommended by John also provided an excellent service. Communication throughout the sale was excellent with Hillary. As SFSC use an online portal, I knew immediately when offers were made on the house. I feel very fortunate to have had such a positive experience of selling my house thanks to Hillary, John and the team at SFSC.

Horrible experience renting with them

Horrible experience renting with them. I visited the apartment that had faulty balcony door, which they said would be fixed before I move in. It was not fixed, the house was extremely dirty with food residue in the fridge, many light bulbs not working (they fixed it after a week). Right now, more than 2 weeks after moving in, the balcony door is still not fixed. I’ll never rent with them again.

Sherry Fitzgeralds here in Tralee have a Fantastic Team. I was a tenant with them for over 2 years from the first contact to unfortunately “for now” the last, they are always very direct and responsive and resourceful. They were great to deal with, for me it was a result of a the landlord selling the property which I rented through Sherry Fitzgeralds that I had to move from this tenancy which has led me to a private landlord however the team at Sherrys Tralee were very very good in helping us find somewhere suitable and likewise finding property owners suitable tenants. They always make things as easy as possible. Would like to say thanks to ALL of the staff that I have dealt with! Always a pleasure.

Long-Term Tenants - Excellent Service

We were tenants of a Sherry Fitz property for almost 7 years, and were always happy with how they handled our inquiries. We chose Stephenson Crean as they are long established in town. From entering the office, each member of staff was very professional. No job was too small for them. Paul gave us excellent advice on how to get the most out of the house we were selling and would regularly check up on our progress. Paul handled the sale for us - he and his team were very professional and more importantly very efficient. They were always at the end of the phone or email when we needed them and the the sale of the house was very transparent. Paul and his team updated us on every step and they followed through with everything they said they would do. This company is amazing especially Mark Lawlor. They sold my house quickly and efficiently. It was really easy to catch Mark on the phone for any queries. He did a great job in getting the best price for my house whilst having great integrity by giving transparent information both to me and to the buyers. He guided me and provided excellent advice from start to finish. I give Sherry Fitzgerald 5 stars and will definitely use them in the future. They are a little dearer than other companies but it's worth it for a seamless service. I got a valuation from another company for the same house and they valued it €105k lower than what Sherry Fitzgerald valued it at and obtained so Sherry Fitzgeralds valuations are more accurate.

We sold a house in Galway with Sherry…

We sold a house in Galway with Sherry Fitz. I really regret choosing them. We did had some bad luck. The agent had an illness mid way the sale and then another agent had to sell it who'd no interest as, our property was small. But also, their process is to only do viewings twice a week. If people couldn't make those viewings they wouldn't show them the house. It definitely didn't show the house to all those who might have been interested. The second agent didn't follow up with several people who'd shown interest, despite me asking if she did. Over all, there far better agents in Galway who are flexible and will do more work to show your house. Before you sell, contact a few agents as if you are buying and see how easy the make it to view a house etc. Wish I'd done that.
