Charlotte went above and beyond to sell our late parents' independent living property in the town. It was a very difficult sale due to a number of factors and incredibly stressful but Charlotte handled the sale professionally and with great understanding. My brother and I would highly recommend this branch of Reeds Rains.

When having a look for a first time home, me & my partner were a bit lost, trying to think of what all our outgoings, new build or old build & were I would stand with gaining a new job, We were put through to Peter & he made us so comfortable straight away and went through everything step by step and spent time making sure we would know everything before buying a house. What should we do and what shouldn’t we do. Eg what’s negative to a bank on a bank statement/ credit cards ect, He made sure we understood and how to improve this to get more lenders to accept, Peter made sure we understood that not many banks would lend as I had a career change and once my probation period is over I would have a lot more chance. We have decided to wait abit longer and get back in touch with Peter when we are ready to buy, hopefully end of summer. We didn’t feel pushed or rushed, & he advised us if we saved a bit more the price of our house can increase so we would have more choice, overall Peter was super helpful, and we can’t wait to work with him, and for him to help us buy our first home come this autumn 😊Thanks Larisse

What a great team - over the last few years ( 3 at least ) I’ve used Reeds Raine for my rental properties and the sale of my home. The team works really well together, giving a seamless joint between “Lettings” and “Sales”. Lydia has been a constant, contactable touch point - her assured and local knowledge is a real benefit, providing insights and contacts that have made the “landlord” role easy and hassle free. Lydia has personally formed an invaluable bridge to the Sales team. It was Lydia’s high levels of customer service that formed my decision to use the Rye Reeds Raines Team to sell my house. Stuart pulled out “all of the stops” to get the sale of my property across the line to my set deadlines - leaving me free to focus on the purchase of my new home. Reeds rains is the worst estate agency I have come across. I had a viewing on one of their property to rent in Eccles new road and I have send our interest on that property and they said they will let me know about landlord’s decision. I made 2 phone calls in one week period after seeing no response from the agency. They were very rude over the phone and were not approachable at all. They asked me to wait for their email to get the update. Even after more than a week, my husband rang them today on 26th September 2023 to get an update, they said the property has been given to other people. They made us to wait for their update more than a week , very rude over the phone and not given any update. I won’t recommend this agency to any of my friends.

Our experience with Reeds Rains was second to none. We had a private sale before marketing with Dave which fell through right when we found a property we wanted to buy, this meant either pulling out of our purchase or finding a buyer quickly (which usually comes with a great financial loss). Dave managed not only to find us a buyer before hitting the market, but get us THREE full asking price offers and one £10k over asking price too. Our property wasn’t in the best of conditions or the easiest location to sell so this kind of service really stood out from the crowd. Well done Dave and team 👏🏼

TrustpilotNo respect for tenants, choose anywhere else
Spoken to like a second class citizen any time I needed anything, our contract said we would be contacted 2 months before the tenancy ended to see if we wanted to renew. When I chased this up after it didn't happen, I was told that I had to speak directly to my landlord. We then got a section 21 from reeds rains, but whenever we tried to contact them for help we were told again 'speak to your landlord'. They also copy and pasted my emails to them (Reeds Rains) and sent them to our landlord without our permission.They might not care about us now that we're 'just tenants', but when we are buying next year they will care when we go absolutely nowhere near them.ETA they now have our old property listed for rent with blatant lies on the advert, one being that there is OFF ROAD PARKING (there is not anything of the sort). Don't trust them!

Absolutely useless service. No surprise that people could not sell with this agents. Wanted a viewing but after multiple calls over a week, manged to get an appointment. When actually got there, the tenants were not informed of the booked visit. Promised a call back to rearrange the appt, but nothing. No responses even after leaving so many messages with the team. Very poor and unprofessional service. I wouldn't use them to buy, sell or manage my lets after this experience. What a disappointing experience 😪.

Staff do not have a clue what they are doing by the looks of it, received so many documents littered with so many errors from all kinds of departments that do not communicate with one another. They dodge questions and facts like politicians or criminals, too scared to tell the landlord when he is wrong and unlawful or breach of their own terms of a tenancy agreement. Negligent or maybe even considered fraudulent tampering of notices to make their documents appear valid. Even down to simple maths (KS1 addition that my 6 year old could complete) they do not seem to be able to grasp. Denial demonstrated on all things that they are incorrect about, which I’m clever enough to have all in emails/writing. I’m embarrassing to have this agent operating, I’m not saying I know everything but I’ve had to correct and school them on a lot of aspects of our tenancy, so much so that I’m tempted to send them an invoice for my time! Avoid this agent at all costs, they side with landlords even if they are in the wrong and simply do as they are told by their clients, this isn’t always the right or ethical thing to do and certainly In need of some training/business transformation or redundancies. Avoid!

Recently moved into a new property with reeds rains bamber bridge branch and it’s a big statement but the estate agents are my current favourite to what previously have experienced to others and I honestly think it’s down to Chris who works for this branch. Complete professionalism and always polite. Super helpful and gives regular updates. Completely made the move as easy as can be and no added stress, anything needed or required Chris has sorted out. Amazing customer service!!

DiscriminatoryPhoned up wanting to view a property only to be informed that as one of the prospective tenants was on benefits that a guarantor was required, irrespective of any other information ie age or rental history or even type of benefit.They tar all benefits claimants with the same brush.I understand the need for a guarantor but to require one based on one single criteria is discrimination.

Scored 1 because I can't give negative. Appalling rental company who should be ashamed of their total lack of tenant care. I was lied to directly by them on multiple occasions, twice left for 3 months without an oven and no care on their part to ensure it was resolved. Then their disgraceful moving out team made me wait just short of 3months for my deposit back and pathetic excuses given, had to take them to deposit dispute to get it back. Avoid at all costs

As a landlord that needs to downsize Reeds Rains are so professional, I’ve given them three properties in different times in the last few months and all three have gone under offer nearly making asking price.
