GoogleI have rented with Gargan and Hart for over 10 years. Sadly, as the landlord is selling the house, so I am moving on. But Gargan and Hart, have always been helpful, respectful and professional. They have been inspecting the property every 3 months and are always prompt at addressing any issues and at making sure the property is safe and well maintained.
Emma is amazing, approachable, respectful and always at the end of the phone if needed. She goes above and beyond, and I cannot thank her enough for all of her help and kindness. She is knowledgeable, practical and a wonderful person. I cannot recommend them highly enough. They would be my first port of call for any future renting or buying. Great team.

GoogleAttended an appointment to view a property this morning in which we were turned away because we didn't have "face coverings or gloves".
The agent stated it was "Government guidelines", however when we advised we had viewed a number of propertys, adhering to strict social distancing and the no touch rule and were sure the PPE Rule was not fact.
Funny enough we checked government guidelines and no such suggestion exists.
The worst bit being the property was vacant and no chain.
As a member of NHS clinical staff, I can assure you Gargan and Hart that your PPE use is clearly not doing you any favours, the dust mask you were wearing is not capable of filtering particulates and the gloves only remind you of infection risk, they do not reduce contact risks.
Congratulations, you have lost a property purchase.

I have checked the "agreement" you suggested we signed, however I cannot locate any actual signature or acknowledgement request, just a questionaire without any real significantly important nature to it. Clearly a poor attempt at "abiding" to the made up legislation your employee suggested he was working too.
I would have been more than happy to return, with PPE that actually works but the attitude of your employee put us off. We do not line the pockets of persons who provide poor customer service.

Please understand that the safety of our staff, vendors and viewers is of paramount importance during these uncertain times and we have decided to protect ourselves and those we come into contact with by wearing appropriate face coverings and gloves. We made you aware - prior to the appointment - what our company policy is and you signed and returned a health questionnaire to us confirming that you understood what both yours and our requirements were for viewing properties through Gargan & Hart. Yes, the property you wanted to view was empty, but we had people following your viewing and we would have been putting them at risk. No one since the lockdown has objected to our request for gloves/face covering and we find it strange, given the fact that you work for the NHS, that you would react in this way to a something that we consider so important. We would love to show you the property at some point but please respect the wishes of both ourselves and the owners of the properties we are entering into during these challenging times.
