They wont make things easy for you. Might take months before they can find you a house to rent. Will waste your time with house veiwings even though they know you wont be successful. Doesnt do weekend or after 5pm veiwings so if you have a full time job GOOD LUCK. Doesnt do veiwings after 4pm during the winter because of low light (what a joke)

As someone who previously worked in the industry, I understand that communication is key. I enquired about a property and booked a viewing which unfortunately couldn't be accommodated by the tenant. This is fine, completely understand. What's disappointing is that I asked for a revised appointment and never heard back, when chased up this morning I've been informed the property is. now under offer.

Our contact, Chloe, was professional, responsive to messages, and always happy to help. She liased with solicitors and other agents to ensure everything went as smoothly as possible, and nothing was ever too much trouble. One star is too high. Moved into a property after having to chase the agents repeatedly about my application. Problems with the boiler and a tap, brought to my attention by a neighbour as it was leaking into her property. They fixed it within days, but the landlord (who I've since been informed was turned down by most other agents in the town) is trying to blame me for misuse. They then ask me halfway through my tenancy if I'd be willing to move out because the landlord is ill and wants to move back. Being a decent human I agree, even mid pandemic. I have since learned otherwise this isn't the case, just wants to move back. Over a month later, living in uncertainty I ring asking of I'm required to move out or not and of course, no call back as promised!! Do I have a home or not?!

Avoid, their customer service and professionalism is beyond a joke. Cancelled a property viewing less than 30 mins before the scheduled time despite being booked and confirmed two days prior. Their reason was when they checked that morning, they did not have keys to the property. I’m sure a detail such as this should be checked before a viewing is confirmed. Despite us travelling over two hours, we had no choice to turn around and go home, leading to a complete waste of time and fuel.

my son has just been let down after booking to view a property that he was very interested in. Yesterday he went to take a second look at this property with a view of paying the deposit. He was told that no appointment had been made even though he was sure that it had. An appointment was made instead for 2.30pm today. My wife and I also went with him and drove out to Halberton and waited for the agent to turn up. Nobody turned up and we were left waiting outside the house. Apparently the property had been let. Weldon and Edwards didn't even phone to say they had let the property. They definitely had my son's phone number as they phoned him yesterday. I feel that my son has had extremely poor customer service.

Seems to be an ongoing issue with an inadequate team at Welden and Edwards. You request your deposit and they ignore your emails, calls end with false promises. Terrible company who do not look after their Tennant's. Disappointed and would never recommend them. 1 star is too much. Terrible letting company.
