We recently bought our dream home through Henderson Setterfield in Broadstairs and couldn’t be happier with the service. Tamara was absolutely lovely, she showed us the property, guided us through the process and patiently answered all of our (many!) questions with a smile. Once we decided to go ahead, Johnnie took over and was extremely professional, always responding quickly to emails and phone calls. He kept everything moving, chased up delays and made sure things didn’t stall. Honestly, we wish all estate agents were as reliable and dedicated as the team at Henderson Setterfield. Thank you for helping us find our new home!

My partner and I went through Henderson Setterfield after a string of poor viewings with other agents. Tamara showed us round the current property we now rent, and she is amazing at her job. She also gave my partner and I time alone in the property to discuss without her around, which should be the bare minimum but it was not something we had experienced with other large letting agents! All the way throughout the process of securing the property Tamara and Mandy were super informative and helped us every step of the way as we were somewhat new to this. I couldn't recommend them and the agency enough.

Worst lettings agent I've ever dealt with. Would NOT let my property out through these if I was a landlord as they don't seem interested in talking to renters who are trying to enquire about properties. I've tried to contact them about lettings on mutliple occasions. They either ignore you, ask for details that you've already supplied twice in the same email thread, or say they will have someone call you but no one does. Absolute joke. In response to the business owner's reply to this review (paragraph above is my original unedited review): Nice try but despite the current demand, every other local agency I've dealt with has responded to my enquiries on the same day and has offered to take note of my budget and what I'm looking for and contact me when relevant properties come up. You haven't offered this once. You're the only local agent who seems to think that the current demand means you can just fob people off and provide terrible service. It's shameful. Your business has never once explained to me what your current process is or that is has changed due to demand. Ever heard of communication skills or just the plain courtesy of responding to an email or explaining to people contacting you that you're operating differrently to usual? It is interesting that you respond to a negative Google review within an hour of me writing it but you've ignored me for days when I've tried to contact you directly.NegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism

We viewed a property with Your Move then Henderson Setterfield took it over the day after. We told Henderson Setterfield we had already viewed the property and would like to be put forward to the landlord for consideration, but they said we had to view the property again as they need to meet any prospective tenants. They did offer us a viewing slot but it was in the middle of the afternoon which we couldn't do as we both work. We reminded them they had already met us recently when we viewed another property with them. We even offered to drop into their office at an agreed time so they can meet us again in order to put us forward. But the response we got was just 'We can't put you forward without you viewing the property' and there was no alternative time slot offered if we did want to go through the rigmarole of viewing it again. I didn't get the impression the person who wrote the email had even discussed it with anyone higher up in the business. Will be avoiding all lettings through them now.
