What a great team at Wards of Tenterden, in particular David Shaw stood out as excellent. We are looking to buy in Tenterden and he was really helpful and knowledgeable about the local market which we found so useful as we are not from the area. He also recommended things to see and do in the Tenterden area which we appreciated. He struck a great (and difficult) balance between providing information and advice but not doing the ‘old school’ hard sell; found him to be very professional, giving use space and time to make decisions. Communication was also excellent as he was always there and nothing felt too much trouble. Unfortunately our chain collapsed but David is keeping us informed of what is coming to market. Exactly the kind of help needed through what is a stressful process.

Wards have been excellent from the moment we approached them to view a property. The professionalism from Becky has been exceptional, she arranged several viewings, kept communication open when we were waiting to sell our own property, and once we had an offer was on hand to guide us through the process of making a successful offer on the property that Wards were marketing. We have just sold a house through Wards Tenterden, using the Iamsold auction platform, after Alex explained the process to us. We were very impressed with how straightforward and quick the whole process was (28 days from listing to completion, I think). Alex and Claire were both very helpful and knowledgeable, and updated us promptly at each stage. I would definitely recommend using Wards of Tenterden as estate agents, and also the Iamsold auction process if you need to sell a property quickly.

From the moment I visited Wards in Tenterden, Alex provided outstanding service. He took the time to listen and understand what my family and I were looking for, and went through available properties with me to create a shortlist. I never felt like just another name on a mailing list. We ended up purchasing our first home from one of the houses we viewed on that very first visit. As first-time buyers, we really appreciated how Alex and the whole team guided us through the process. They were always easy to reach and happy to answer any questions. It didn’t matter whether we spoke to Alex, Becky, Tina, David, Claire or Lydia, everyone was able to help, whether it was with general queries or updates specific to our purchase, and they were brilliant at keeping us updated without being prompted. We met Leanne at first contact who was lovely! She made us feel welcome and explained simply to us the details of buying our property. Nothing was too much trouble and Leanne was so easy to talk to. The branch manager, whose name I have forgotten ( sorry ) was also very informative and approachable and easy to communicate with.
