I’ve a very bad experience with this agency. In last minute the’ve cancelled viewing without any reason and scheduled for next day when I called them and asked for reason. As soon as I view the property, immediately called them requested them block for me and sent an application. I’ve been keep calling them to check the status of my application and they were keep telling me that in progress. Today when I called them again they told the property has been given to another applicant, they didn’t even bother to inform me that the property gone for another applicant and give me reason for my application rejection as well.

Friendly and helpful service

I have been really impressed with all the team at Mannleys. The whole process of selling my house with Mannelys has been dealt with really professionally. From the valuation with Martin, to the gentlemen who took the photos of the property and especially Jane and Lydia who arranged viewings and always come back to me with feedback. The most important thing for me was that the team were friendly and approachable and that I wasn't made to feel a nuisance with all my questions.

Slow start but gathered pace…

We put our property on the market several months ago at a price that was recommended to us by the surveyor. We got initial interest but no real movement so decided to drop the price. Once again we got more viewings but with little promise. During this time there was little in the way of communication from Mannleys. We visited the estate agents and met Lydia. She was like a breath of fresh air and listened to our concerns given the lack of viewings on what was a sought after property. We discussed taking the house off the market but agreed to keep it on until the end of summer. Within a week we had an offer and the house sale has just gone through. Both my wife and feel that although we sold the house there could have been more Interaction from Mannleys. We did all bar two of the viewings despite not wanting to get involved because a representative of Mannleys was not available. I appreciate that there was a shortage of staff and some employees left but this wasn’t communicated to us. Thank goodness for Lydia!!We have now moved and are satisfied that we got there in the end. When you pay for a Prestige service then I believe that is what you should get. Lydia was the star of the show. Once she was onboard she kept us up to speed with any developments. I feel a little aggrieved we paid for a service in which we did a lot of the work but I suppose ultimately the house was sold. Thank you Mannleys, particularly Lydia.

I recently used Mannleys to sell my property and the whole process was so effortless throughout. I rang them on the Tuesday, They had valued it on the Wednesday, Photos were taken on the Friday and it was listed on the market by Saturday!! Lydia was the sales agent who helped me sell my property. She was always on hand with any queries or when arranging viewings. She was very contactable and would always provide constant updates without me needing to chase which makes the whole process so much easier. Thank you Lydia for all that you did for me :) My Mannleys experience has been a really positive one and I would promote them with friends and family! I am now in the process of buying my next home (purchased through Mannleys) and again this so far has been very smooth sailing! Thank you Mannleys for all your help and support!

Section 21 hell!

When we received a Section 21 from our Landlord we were devastated. We were ably helped by Ashleigh and Kerrie, who quickly arranged a viewing for us on a property they were looking to arrange tenants for. Thankfully we were successful and although I had thought the worst we are now in a lovely bungalow. We would recommend Mannleys to a tenant or a landlord.

Absolutely superb experience with the team from start to finish. Sold my property with them and completed the sale on Thursday 14th April. The valuation from Martin was excellent, he took the time with me to get the marketing right on the property as it's quite unique, organised a photographer who was brilliant and the house sold within 24 hours. Communication from Danielle in particular was excellent throughout the paperwork process but the whole team have been great and made it very easy for me throughout the whole process. Iam very satisfied with my agent Mannely.Excellent services they provided for me as a landlord and the tennant...I was with Mannely since I bought the property 10 years ago.. staff are very kind and their work is very efficient..All of the staff are very dedicated to their duties.It make me very easy to run my buy to let property business. We didn't use Mannleys to sell our house but we wish we had. We bought our new house through them though and absolutely recommend them. They were very friendly and professional at all times. Chasing our solicitor for updates regularly and always copying us into the emails. Communication was excellent. A special thanks to Ashleigh, she was so lovely and kept us informed all the way through. When I went into the office to collect our keys for the new house, all the staff were friendly and presented me with a lovely welcome pack and a bottle of prosecco. A lively touch, thank you to all at Mannleys for a not too stressful house purchase 😀

Ashleigh the star!

There were some initial issues over the photos taken which i had to ask to have redone as i didn't think it showed the house at its best and Chris Mannerley came out and redid them which i was happy with. He was very nice and supportive and did them from different angles and prospective. The house was on during lockdown and had a few time wasters viewing, probably glad to get out as house selling was still allowed! This was in no way the fault of Mannerleys. After the first buyer had to drop out as their buyer dropped out it was readvertised on the Thursday and had 7 viewings by Saturday, the first of whom immediately offered my price within half an hour of viewing which i accepted. There then followed unfortunately issues within the chain and also poor solicitors, not mine, failing to respond to things. However, Ashleigh took over and did an excellent job of chasing and finding out the hold ups. My house was sold to my buyers, who were also great throughout and had also done their best to chase things. Ashleigh kept me informed throughout and was a star for the company.

With moving being one of the most stressful things you can do we really couldn’t have it without the help of Mannleys. Christian went above and beyond to ensure communication in chain was chased for us when solicitors wouldn’t respond in a timely manner. Even up until the moment of getting the keys the process was by no means smooth with our chain however Christian did everything in his power to help us. Hand on heart I don’t think we would have ended up moving without the support. Buying/selling is not just listing your house online - the fee you pay includes the service and communication you also get. In this case the value for money was second to none. Thank you once again!
