Useless

I’ve only given one star because I have too. I do love my home, but the company are absolutely useless at costumer care, the quality of our home when moving in was shocking and took well over a year and constant back and forth to get sorted, nearly 2 years in now and a problem that we thought was a drainage issue that Lovell still haven’t rectified turned out to be an ongoing water leak due to poor fitting that has only just been fixed.We’ve used the emergency contact line to report our boiler not working. So no heating or hot water and been told this is not an emergency and that they ‘only deal with refurbs out of hours’? There is literally no care after you’ve brought the house.

What an amazing housing development (…

What an amazing housing development ( Wild Walk ). We were totally blown away with the quality and look of the houses. And plenty of space between them and ample parking which is so refreshing from other new build sites we have seen. And Dave was fantastic with us showing us around the site physically on foot not from a plan. And great explanations of the development, We found the ideal plot (66) and perfect house for our next venture. Thanks Ian and Nic Brogan.

Great experience from seeing the plot until moving in.

We had our heart set on the plot we eventually were able to secure from the moment we discovered Lovells development on Houlton in Rugby. Julie was and is wonderful and helped us from day 1 until we moved in and since. Ryan and Dave have been exceptional with the few snagging issues and we would definitely recommend the Lovell team. Thanks we love our new home .

Behaviour

I’m unfortunate to live opposite one of their building sites. General construction noise is one thing but loud banging from 6:45 am and loud music that can be heard in our home with the windows closed above the sound of the machinery is just anti social behaviour. I’ve tried to call & emailed the West Midlands office, hopefully someone there can help with this truly anti social behaviour.

A beautiful Lovell home with great service

We have just moved into our Lovell home and absolutely love it! From agreeing the sale through to the handover, everything has been first class! Our home looks and feels fantastic. The beautifully spaced homes within the development give an overall feeling of privacy and exclusivity. The finish of the homes feels high quality and everyone we have spoken to regarding Lovell have been so friendly and passionate about their homes, especially Dulcie Bailey!

I bought a Lovell Home last year

I bought a Lovell Home last year, and it had quite a serious problem with the tiles in the bathroom. Turned out the wall had not been prepped properly when originally installed and as a result some had detached themselves from the wall while the rest of them were hanging on by a thread! Rob arrive on Monday morning and immediately started to strip the existing tiles, some of which almost literally fell off the walls! He explained what he was doing and the process he would use to clean up the wall and prepare it as should have been done in the first place before starting to retile. The walls were bare and prepped by the end of the day. Jordan joined him on Tuesday morning and between them they tiled the three walls quickly and efficiently with brand new tiles. On Wednesday they were back to grout and put back up the shower screen, bath side panel, etc. and by the end of Wednesday my bathroom looked beautiful again. They did an excellent job and I have nothing but praise for them and their work.

Phenomenal Customer Service and Great Experience

I have been looking for a new home for years and started looking at Williams Park- Lovell Homes a while ago. I quickly realised the spec and quality was above par to other new build homes available at that time. The advice, support, and customer service I received from the sales team (Matt and Jo) was integral to the process and has ultimately led me to occupying a great plot that’s perfect for me. They pointed out things I wouldn’t have thought of and supported me along the way. The care and consideration (and patience) they both had made the whole process very smooth. Jo welcomed me from the beginning and helped guide me through the choosing process, and Matt was very communicative keeping me up to date on the progress of the property, allowing me multiple visits to measure up (nothing was too much) and continues to check-in on the progress of the move and the quality of the house. They seem to always be working and on hand! I have found Sharon from the aftercare team very helpful and proactive- which is much appreciated. Overall I would highly recommend Lovell as a new homes builder, but more importantly I’d recommended them for their great customer service. Buying a home is no small purchase, and it’s nice to feel like you have people like Matt and Jo who care about what they are doing! Thanks to all the team!

Our journey with Lovell homes at Williams park began in early 2023. The sales team of Jo and Matt were central to our very positive experience. The purchase process was explained very clearly by Jo who led on the administration. Matt was our lead for viewings of our new home. He was extremely knowledgeable and informative about the build process. From Hero to Zero in 12 months.

We moved into our dream home just over a year ago and the Lovell team that helped us purchase could not have been better, a sheer joy.12 months later and the snagging list has never been actioned. There was nothing on there of any great issue but the faulty toilet cistern in one bathroom has now appeared in the en-suite so neither can be used.Two messages before Christmas completely ignored and I’ve sent one each month for the last three months to escalating levels of customer service management. Other than an automated message that they will come back you get nothing.Undeliverable emails to the main representatives ( Wendy and Emma, who were brilliant) indicate the best staff have now left. Half a million is a lot to just be ignored this way, so sad their bubble has burst.UPDATE: within a few working hours of my review I’ve had a message back (thank you) so fingers crossed this turns out to be a blip and they're back to ‘hero’ status again. In which case I’ll gladly share the good news.

Special mention to staff

We purchased a bungalow on the Williams Park estate in Norfolk in December and my review is based on the service we have received throughout from particular members of staff. On the sales team, we dealt with Jo who is a "legend" and Lovell is very lucky to have such a professional member of staff. Although the sales process was delayed, Jo kept us informed at all times and was on the end of the telephone to answer any questions. In recent times, we have had dealings with Matt on the sales team who is always there to help us should we have any issues when we are unable to get in touch with customer care. We have inevitably had some snaggings and we really cannot thank Phill Bend enough on his amazing service. He really does care and always goes out of his way to ensure things are put right. It cannot be the easiest job being on the frontline of customer care and ensuring that bad workmanship and snagging issues are put right. Phill, you deserve a medal! We are gutted to learn that Phill has recently left the company which is such a loss to Lovell. We just hope that we will continue to receive the after care that Phill gave us.
