5 star service & such a professional agent. We sold and bought our new home through Josh and his team in the summer of this year, and we have had nothing short of a stress free, smooth journey. Our queries and requests were always listened to and acted on fast, and our home was sold in less than 2 weeks! During our selling process, we also had a small baby, which they really understood & fitted in viewings to suit us. The solicitors they advised us of was also amazing which has resulted in such a smooth journey! If we were ever to move again, we will be straight on the phone to them to help us again! Thank you to your team for such a easy process, whilst juggling becoming parents so soon into our buying / selling journey! Emma & Steve

Sold in 5 days, couldn’t have asked for more!

We honestly couldn’t recommend Bradleys enough. From start to finish, the whole experience of selling our home was brilliant. A massive shout out in particular to Jack (COYS!), who was our agent throughout the process. He was so relatable, down to earth and just a genuinely lovely guy. By the end of it, we honestly felt like we were dealing with a friend rather than an estate agent! Nothing ever felt like too much trouble and the communication throughout was 10/10. Clare and Jordan were also fab, stepping in and helping both Jack and us along the way whenever needed. The whole team just made what is normally a really stressful process feel so much easier. Our house sold within 5 days of going on the market, and the photos and videos they arranged were amazing and presented our home beautifully. They'd even organised off market viewings, before it had even gone live. We actually bought this same house through Bradleys back in 2020 and had a great experience with them then too, so it felt quite fitting that they were the ones to sell it for us as we move on to our next chapter. Just a genuinely lovely bunch of people who are great at what they do. We’ve already recommended them to others and wouldn’t hesitate to do so again. Thank you so much Jack, Clare, Jordan and everyone at Bradleys! ❤️

Totally unprofessional, unprofessional, unprofessional ! They have a mantra to get you on board and then within less than a fortnight ask you to drop your price heavily to sell at the lowest price ! Then they tell you they can upsell your property to above the advertised price ! So why drop it to start with? They then state they have a client base waiting to view your property, complete joke. There is no value add from this estate agent what so ever. It’s totally a numbers game to them, to get as many houses on their books as possible and then devalue your property to get as many sales as quickly as possible to outsell their competitors, so they look good on the property stats ! Destroying not only the value in your property but those properties in your surrounding area ! Use these at your peril ? We departed company in less than a month. 19/02/2024 Thanks for the response:- Total nonsense you contacted myself on 12th February and asked to drop the price by 20,000 which I felt was totally unprofessional and somewhat unsatisfactory and therefore felt under duress to agree stating that my property had only been on the market late afternoon on Friday the 24th January ! However, originally you personally stated you could achieve the asking price 420k actually stating this was a reasonable/ realistic price for my property after provided me with three price brackets the lowest being 400k the mid price 420k another higher . It was agreed to market at the mid price bracket because you stated personally you were able to achieve a sale within a reasonable timeframe at this price bracket! Then realising you couldn’t you rang me on the afternoon of the 12th February to ask me to drop price by a staggering 20k the lowest price bracket ! within this short period after only having two so called viewing in this period ? In my humble opinion this was just a tick in box for you! None were real potential buyers ! Which became clear on your feed back. And to clarify, I was at no time abrupt to any of your staff ! . I understand that negative feedback isn’t always to your liking, but honesty in my book is always the best policy.

Dear Mr Donohoe, we're sorry you felt the need to leave us a one star review following the time you spent on the market with us. We welcome constructive feedback that helps us improve our service. For clarity, we wanted to address the points of your review in more detail. Before the initial valuation, we sold a property of the identical design on your road, and we were transparent with you about the price the property achieved, we agreed that with your property having some additional modifications to the kitchen and the flooring we could expect a bit more for your property. You then instructed us to add £20,000 to the asking price to give you room to negotiate. After two weeks of marketing and only one viewing, you asked for our advice on how to speed up your sale to which we reverted to our initial conversation. This change brought a higher number of viewings and enquiries. You then requested to increase the price again by £20,000 following several abrupt conversations with myself and the team. At this point, we decided that our expectations on the sale of your property were not aligned, and the team were not being treated with the respect they deserved. Therefore, we decided to release you from your contract and remove your home from being marketed with us. This was the most amicable solution to allow you to explore your opportunities to achieve a higher price which we felt was not realistic. We wish you the best of luck with your move.

A massive thank you to Bradley’s for helping us navigate being first time buyers. We have dealt with both James and Josh and they have been so helpful and kind. James showed us multiple properties and listened to everything we needed from a home for our little family. Josh has guided us in making an offer and always kept us up to date with what’s been going on. We would definitely go to Bradleys again in the future.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Constructive & Polished Friendly and enthusiastic estate agents who were supportive and communicative throughout our sale. We did run into some complications with the solicitors connected to the agency, which made parts of the process more stressful than expected, but the agents themselves remained helpful and responsive. Overall, we’re grateful for their assistance and so happy with the final result. Josh particularly was so helpful, and Katie was great too! Our previous estate agents, Complete, had the house on the market for almost a year, and although they were really friendly, we were getting nowhere. Bradleys had found a buyer within 6 weeks. Amazing!

I have recently had the pleasure of both attending viewings and having my property valued with Bradleys. Although I haven’t proceeded with a purchase or sale just yet, I wanted to leave a review specifically for Joshua. From the outset, Joshua has been incredibly helpful, explaining different aspects of the process, highlighting opportunities, and offering fantastic advice. What stood out most was that he never made us feel pressured. Instead, he truly listened to our goals and guided us in a way that felt supportive and well-informed. Joshua’s insights during both the viewing and valuation made our decision-making process much clearer and more thoughtfully planned. I’m really looking forward to working with him as we move forward. His professionalism is commendable, and it’s clear he’s a real asset to the Bradleys team. For anyone lucky enough to work with Joshua, you’re in great hands. :)

I came to Bradleys Newton Abbot after feeling really underwhelmed by a prior agent. Expectations weren't good. However, wow, what a difference. Josh, Faith and Emily bring so much energy, knowledge, enthusiasm and human kindness. They go above and beyond. They have all dealt with us with, professionalism, kindness and energy. Honestly couldn't have asked for more. So so impressed. I will now never use a different agent, who in truth made the difference in our sale and purchase! Thank you all.

Fantastic team at Bradley’s who offer a wonderful service. Currently selling and purchasing property and cannot fault the service we have received. Friendly, approachable staff who are all happy to help in anyway they can. They are prompt to update me with any new information/progress and are very flexible with times to do this as I work full time. Charlotte has been excellent with dealing with all of our questions and promptly come back with answers. I feel confident selling with and buying with Bradley’s.

Right from the start, Bradleys were brilliant facilitators of what was my first ever house purchase. Even though they were acting for the seller, they supported and guided me all the way through the process with patience, clarity and friendliness. If I ever end up selling this house, I will definitely approach Bradleys to be my agents. Big thank you to Sally, Josh, Jessica and the team.

Thank you to "James Slavin" for the viewing at Powderham Terrace on 27/04/2026. We have decided that the property isn't for us. James allowed us the time we required to have a good look at the property and was able to answer every question with confidence and in a professional manner. Thank You.

Dear Dawn, our apologies for this. It is not our usual standard of service. We have investigated the situation and it was as simple as the office explained, unfortunately, the wrong applicant file was used, and therefore was contacted about the appointment instead of yourself. We hope we can make this up to you in the future and wish you the best with your move.

No human element here...

Saw a property to rent that looks ideal so clicked online to arrange a viewing. Took about 30 minutes to complete their registration as I had to open an Experian account to get my credit score - among other things! This was the first agency I had tried so assumed this was standard these days - it's not. The property I want to view does not allow children so while I currently have a 'child' as she is 17, she will be 18 in a couple of weeks - so by the time we move. Rang to get advice on how to complete the form and got an automated message redirecting me to fill in the online form! No space on the form to clarify any individual circumstances. Completed form and didn't hear back by weekend when I was hoping to view property. Sent email but understand it can take a day or 2 for a reply so found a customer services number - phoned hours before they shut and got automated message that operators were all busy and I could choose to hold. I held and just a minute later got a message that my call could not be taken and to call another time -no option to continue holding. The property I'm interested in was reduced in January and I thought initially this was due to lack of interest or something not obvious from the advertisement. I'm now inclined to believe it is due to noone being given the chance to view it! This is ridiculous. I have jumped through hoops to try and get a viewing, I am a reliable and honest tenant and have been in my existing rental nearly 7 years. I won't be renting through Bradleys now even if they do get back to me as I don't feel they are serving tenants or their landlords with this overly restrictive gatekeeping and do not trust that they would deal with any tenancy issues adequately in the future.

Very poor customer service.

I would have given a rating of zero if possible, but 1 star is way above what this company deserves. We used them as a letting agent for several years and our experience was of very poor customer service, usually just telling us what they thought we wanted to hear, when in reality they were not accurately reporting the condition of the property. The tenants were dirty and lazy, but none of this was reported in the periodic checks carried out by Bradley's. Even when there were problems with the state of the property, these were played down or even not reported to us. It took a visit in person by myself to see the poor condition and damage to our property, by which time eviction proceedings were under way. When the tenants eventually left, the check out report was carried out and not even dated, so there was no accurate proof of the condition of the property on this date. When asked about this, the staff became very defensive. This impacted on us, as the considerable damage and neglect to the property could not be fully claimed for, leaving us out of pocket. When trying to submit a claim to retain the deposit, Bradley's were of no help whatsoever, leaving us to do it all. Think very carefully before you use this company as a letting agent.

Property availability showing on all platforms including their own website. When you call you are told by an automated system to go & fill in a form you don't even speak to a human. The form itself is incredibly intrusive just to try & book a viewing. To have to divulge your savings & Experian score just to be able to view a property I think is extremely intrusive at this stage, only have I ever had to divulge this information is during the referencing stages never just to view a property. So after having to fill out all yours & your partner's personal information (might aswell ask for our blood types while you're at it) you are then told the property is no longer taking bookings... Yet this isn't stated anywhere previous to filling in pages of personal information.. so what's the point in this form? To get more people to sign up to your website so you are then bombarded with properties you have no interest in.. Extremely poor way of doing things.. & have no idea why you need all that information just for us to be able to walk around a property, had it been to secure it I'd understand but this was way ott to then be told the property is no longer taking bookings.. awful system. Have properties with for sale signs yet have already been sold not even showing on their site again just a marketing ploy. Tried contacting the branch through numerous ways & even though I was promised that someone would contact me 3 times no one ever did. Even a email to the branch manager was left with no response. So many better estate agents out there that you can actually talk to a human & get a response from & where you don't have to give them all your personal details before even getting a viewing.

Sarah · 11 October 2022

Agent replied · 10 November 2024

Dear Sarah, we're sorry to hear of your disappointment as we take our customer experience extremely seriously. Unfortunately due to the continued extremely high demand for rental properties we simply have no other way of processing the volumes of enquiries. We try to contact all enquirers, even those that do not meet the criteria for a property, although we're aware the demand is so high we aren't managing to get to everyone. The branch Manager does not appear to have received an email, unless it is in the spam filter, however, if you wish to provide further information to info@beagroup.co.uk we can be sure to look into the matter further or pass on details where required.

Not impressed.

Not impressed. Tried to rent via rightmove so called them. The phone number is just an automated system that directs you to their website and therefore useless. Went to their website: you can't even request more information without entering loads of personal details into this. As part of this Bradleys require you to send through an Experian credit check and you can't progress without it, this means you have to create an account with Experian too or other credit check agency... and accept all their terms and conditions... Still, I ploughed on, completed a credit check and then go no response at all! Utter waste of my time. Went back through right move to contact them, i.e. seemingly the only way to message them. Got a response telling me to go to their website and fill in all my details again! Responsed to the email informing them that I had already done so and guess what? The email system is no-reply. Shameful, hence this review. I can only speak from personal experience, maybe they are great if you are a landlord or selling property but as soon to be both, I will not consider them for either purpose if this is how their tenants are treated.

We are looking for a new home to rent

We are looking for a new home to rent, we were advised to try Bradleys Having contacted and registered with many estate agents in the south west of England we found all of them to be easy and straightforward to register with, but Oh My God when you get to Bradleys, you should dump them immediately. After a few minutes in to the registration form the information they require becomes beyond belief, they even want to know how much savings you have. That’s totally obnoxious and none of their business. We can understand that they require certain information but not this just to register for information on lettings (no other letting agency requests to have your private and personal information just to register or even getting info on properties to let in their portfolio ). BRADLEYS you are too big for your boots. And by the way you have the worst web site to navigate in the market. Pay someone to help or get a grown up to help you.

Don’t sign anything without getting advice

I would advise anyone to steer clear of Bradleys if you expect any level of service or communication. We have been on the market with them for 18 months with only a handful of viewings. I haven’t heard a word from them since April, The For Sale board blew down in February. I reported this but no one has ever been around to put it back up. I have now decided to remove our property from their marketing and have now been told they expect me to pay them £600. I presume part of their strategy is that even if they don’t manage a sale then at least will get £600. This seems a very risk free and lazy way of making money for what is supposed to be a Company working for their customers. I have checked with 4 other Agents out there and none of them operate this way. Do your research and don’t sign anything without checking elsewhere first.
