GoogleI recently rented a property through Mansbridge and Balment and had a very positive experience. The team (in particular Carla) were friendly, professional, and responsive, always addressing queries quickly and clearly. The process of moving in and out was smooth and well-organised, and I felt well-supported throughout my tenancy. I would highly recommend Mansbridge and Balment to anyone looking for a reliable and professional estate agency.

GoogleHighly recommend Mansbridge Balment. We found them to be extremely helpful and professional going above and beyond on the sale of our two properties. Selling a property is rarely an easy process but they liaised between all parties making it as smooth as possible. Kate conducted our viewings and she ensured that she had a good knowledge on both properties so she was able to answer most questions that were put to her by prospective buyers. GoogleJulia and the team at mansbridge have been absolutely incredible every step of the way, the speed and turnover of communication and efficiency of the team meant we were able to match with a property and meet the landlord before making any payments to ensure it was the right home for us. I cannot recommend or thank the team enough for all of their hard work, with even the smallest 'silly but it's worrying me' question not being too much for this amazing team, I would 100% use this office and team again and look forward to working with them if I ever have to x

GoogleIf you are looking for the best Estate Agents in Devon then just search Mansbridge Balment Tavistock. During an incredibly busy housing market this year (Spring/Summer 2021) I both sold my property with them and bought a property with them too. Their professional and knowledgeable advice on both sides of this process was second to none. From that very initial phone call , (where first impressions matter) to arrange a valuation everyone I dealt with was friendly, helpful and clear on how the process would work. Nothing was too much trouble right through from the initial valuation through to securing my lovely new home. In particular Kevin, Julia and Peter have been incredibly supportive during quite a stressful process resulting in a successful completion in time for the end of September deadline. An absolute pleasure to find a team so focussed on providing such excellent customer service where you speak to a human being rather than automated robots.PositiveProfessionalism

GoogleMansbridge Balment Okehampton Estate Agents I would be profoundly disappointed if I had entrusted this estate agent with the responsibility of marketing my property. I have personally reached out to them on two separate occasions to express my interest in properties they are actively marketing, both through Rightmove and directly through their own website, providing all the requested information. Regrettably, I have consistently been ignored. No one from the office has contacted me to follow up or schedule a viewing. It is imperative for property vendors to be aware that Mansbridge Balment does not prioritise their best interests. I strongly recommend that they consider hiring another agent who will provide the necessary support and attention. This conduct is highly unprofessional and disrespectful to their clients and potential purchasers.

GoogleI have used M&B for over a year, and with them finding a suitable tenant for my fathers property, helping to deal with all of the paperwork, administration, assisting with problems that may arise, and being there for support. The staff are first class, caring and supportive when navigating a sometimes complicated environment when renting out a property for the first time. Outstanding.

GoogleWouldn't trust this estate agent. Was told that they knew the sellers well and that they were chain free. Which they clearly wasn't. This estate agent knew the sellers well and had sold other properties for them. So we were told how they wanted a quick sale. We managed to get everything done within the time frame they wanted. They then told us that the house that they had now suddenly found wasn't ready but they wanted to exchange without given us a date. When we said we need the date that they had first given us , they then pull out. Totally a waste of time and alot of money. When I complain to the estate agent that he had stung us along ...his words were.."well I've lost money to ...not sure that he lost £1600....just don't trust them ...and becareful if you thinking of buying a very nice coach house in the area. Was also recommended a builder to do report on the property that we were looking to buy by the estate agent only to find out when they arrived...that they were the builder that had done all the work on the property 😉 So of course, we were told everything is prefect.
Unfortunately, vendors are entitled to change their minds, which on this occasion they did, leaving both you and us disappointed.

GoogleI arranged a viewing on a house last summer with Mansbridge and decided to put an offer in. Apparently somebody else had put the exact same offer in on the property and we were told to submit our "highest and final offers". Our next offer was declined, so we asked to put another slightly higher offer in. We were told, quote, "I will put this offer forward, but I know it will be declined, the offer that has been accepted is significantly higher", only to find out months later the final sale price to the other person was the exact same amount as our offer! To make matters worse, the agent never got back to us to confirm if our offer had been accepted or declined. Alongside being treated poorly & not taken as a serious buyer, most likely due to being young & female. Terrible experience and would be reluctant to view another property with Mansbridge.

GoogleYou go see a house, say you are interested and OF COURSE they ignore you and don't call you back. Horrible people. Then you have to find out that the house has been rented looking online. I wonder if you would treat your son/daughter like this or better: would you like to be treated like this? I guess no, well then: treat people as you would like to be treated. The reason you didn't call back? Because you are RUDE! You lot are all the same, greedy, fake and patronising. Now go ask your friends to leave some fake good reviews. They even left a message on my phone AFTER reading this message offering other houses, YES, of course I am going to give my hard earned money to you.
