GoogleA massive thankyou for helping me find my dream home. Reece was extremely helpful and had excellent customer service skills. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a lovely home.

GoogleAbout a year a go we moved into a property through Newton King, on moving in we discovered that the kitchen had not been cleaned properly (grill pan still full of grease!), the spare bedroom had been left without a light bulb in it which is a special three-pin bayonet fit bulb that cost around £15 each! The window in the main bedroom didn't close correctly and in the winter there was a very cold draft that never got fixed. The bathroom smelt horrid as it was full of mold because the bath was not correctly sealed to the wall so water would leak under the bath. Now on moving out they want to charge us for carpet cleaning which I have already had done and have the receipt for (£156) they also want to charge us for 'missing light bulbs' of which we have never had in the first place. They also want to charge us for the cleaning of the kitchen and the bathroom of which was never cleaned when we moved in.

GoogleOne of the worst around. They’ll take your money under false pretences, perform credit checks knowing you’ll fail, lie, steal and worm out of obligations all for a hefty price (oh and the rent in advance that they’ll keep before you’ve even been accepted for a property). Don’t sign on the dotted line! I’m so glad the government have changed the legislation on companies like this. It’ll hit them hard for sure. I smell bankruptcy? I’d love my money back but I’m resigned to the fact me and partner have lost the £700 we paid to MJ and Newton King. Comprising of credit check fees, rent in advance, admin fees and fuel money for the new BMW the assistant was driving probably! Avoid.

GoogleI would firstly like to thank you for showing my elderly parents around a house. They haven't moved in over 45 years and they fell in love. You sold them the dream. So imagine my surprise when I find that the dream you sold them was within 10 ft of a halfway house and homeless shelter.... the only information you didn't disclose. When I spoke to your agent and her manager they both expressed that they had made it clear it was near social housing, it took quite some explaining that a house full of convicts coming out of prison was very different from a council house. We agreed to disagree. You purposely attempted to mislead my parents who are in their 70's. I wonder if you fully disclosed the location of the house to the other buyers. Would never consider buying from you. I honestly don't know how you sleep at night!

GoogleWe have just moved house thanks to Newton King. They are without doubt the best estate agents. They are knowledgeable and experienced, friendly, extremely hard working and dedicated to their work. They kept us up to date every step of the way and were available throughout the process, making a potentially stressful experience so much easier. I would highly recommend using them for your property sale.

GoogleCompletely pleased to have had Newton King arrange our last tenancy in Nov. 17. They were just so nice and easy to deal with - soft handed but professional - it is exactly what is required when you are stressfully moving home. They did everything they said they would which is rare nowadays and very welcomed. Wishing them all there a very (surely) prosperous 2018. It is all about the right approach, and Newton King have this bagged hands down. Totally refreshing.

GoogleWe were looking for a place at very short notice in November 2017. The company on a whole worked fast and got us lots of different properties to view almost the same day as calling. We were shown the properties by staff member Jess Todd and she was in communication with us throughout the whole process. I don’t normally write reviews but because of her brilliant work I thought people should know they’re are a reliable friendly and also fast service. Jack

GoogleThe best estate agent we have ever worked with. Eddie, especially made the selling of our home right through to completion and moving happen in a smooth timely manner. He works above and beyond for the seller, we would definitely recommend Newton King as the No 1 estate agent in Taunton.

GoogleAfter they're told that you're leaving the flat, even though there's still 2 months on the contract and of occupancy, they start ignoring your reports and communications. Also charging absolutely crazy prices for cleaning a miniscule flat, that was disgusting when I moved in. Never again.
