They allowed our landlord's company to let an unsafe inhabitant flat to live in. All our neighbours moved out within short period of time and God bless we managed to get out as well. Although there are still people staying in that damp and unsafe block. Ridiculous to see that we got charged the full amount of rent we have agreed to with the landlord and so many maintenance issues appeared that we have never seen in 2 months time.
Our landlord was very unprofessional and did not communicate with us at all.
Very bad management from White and Sons and I know they will come back here with every excuse to defend their reputation but I am just honest and recommending to avoid it at any cost!

If you are considering using White and Sons estate agent in Dorking please think twice. We rented a property through them for 12 months. In this time they demonstrated poor communication and lack of urgency in emergency situations. Their response to maintenance issues within the property was very poor, on occasions the house was left in an unsatisfactory and unsafe condition for weeks on end (e.g. due to flooding). As a family with young children, we found this very stressful. After multiple telephone conversations, White and Sons clearly demonstrated a complete disregard for the welfare of tenants. This estate agent failed to communicate the landlords intention, months prior, to sell the property and end our tenancy. Leaving us with very short notice to move out, with another baby on the way. I hope that nobody else whether you are a tenant or a landlord/landlady has to endure the stress caused by this company.
