GoogleThis outfit appears to operate a voicemail only service. I must have phoned 20 times and no one answers. Very frustrating.

Hi Mike, we definitely don't have a voicemail only service. We have checked our logs and you connected to our voicemail system seven times without leaving a single message. Also calling several times within a minute probably means we are talking to other clients so leaving a message does help us to get back to you.

GoogleUnfortunately I can't really recommend this agency. The staff are pleasant and friendly, however I have found the communication from them to be nothing short of appalling, with very few telephone calls to update me as to progress of any sales, but also just not responding to emails at all. All in all a pretty frustrating and disappointing experience

GoogleI'm not sure what all the fuss is about. I have met Mr Gray (he insists on being referred to as "Mr" Gray) and I found this man, who so many people have decided to demonise, a very interesting and fascinating individual. I first met Mr Gray at a Over 40's social event in Croydon during the mid nineties . Myself and my good wife (she is known affectionally as 'Winkle baps' to her friends) were introduced to Mr Gray by a mutual friend, Ian Thompson-Smyth. After a few Pina Colada's (Mr Gray insisted on extra Malibu for his!) he told us all about Enoch Powell and how he saw him as a father figure. At this point I burst into tears - I grabbed Mr Gray and asked him, no, BEGGED him that, if he EVER needed any advice on how to keep Britain a morally, ethically and financially consistent entity then he can always rely on me. GoogleI agree with Alan Sharpe, my experience with Ashley and his 'team' were different but never the less equally as awful. They don't seem to do anything properly and forget basic things like passing bank info from your Landlord so you can start paying rent. Estate agents are, lets face it, middle men and have always had a reputation to match but this particular operation really lowers the bar. Im amazed they are still open for business if what Mr Sharpe says is true..........NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

GoogleAwful estate agents. Please avoid at all costs if you are renting. They (along with our landlord) embezzled our security deposit. Eventually we had to get solicitors involved and sent letters out to both the manager of MiMove and our landlord. We successfully sued our landlord, but it was stressful and upsetting. I do not like complaining generally but consider it my moral duty in this case to warn others against using these agents. It is only through sheer persistence that we got our deposit back eventually. It is pertinent to note the lack of 'ok' reviews on here and that immediately after any bad reviews there seems to be a stream of five star reviews directly after. GoogleI recently bought a flat through Mi-Move but I wouldn’t recommend them. Poor customer service and communication skills, generally ignored my phone calls and emails even though I only rarely tried to contact them and only when essential. Once the deal was done they didn’t want to know, ignoring my requests for information that I needed to deal with situations that the vendor should have dealt with but failed to. The office staffs’ “I’m sorry he’s not in the office at the moment” was generally one of the least convincing I’ve heard. This is the first negative review I’ve ever written online for any business, I’m not usually the complaining type. The deal did go through so it wasn’t all bad but I was not impressed at all by how they treat the customer.

GoogleThey don't check the properties and don't help to solve the issues with the owners . Lie about the state of the flats. Flats come with broken windows and mold but are wanted to look like new after the rental contract expires. Forget about your security deposit. Pure scammers.

I am disappointed to read this review, when I have no idea of which property this relates to, or your actual name, as we don't have any tenants with a name, that to my knowledge is actually or close to 'Bhy Bhy'. We carry out periodic property inspections to check condition if we manage the property, and also rely on the tenants, as it is their responsibility to report issues to us, if anything crops up in between visits. Fair wear and tear is expected, and taken in to account, and we employ completely independent and fully trained Inventory clerks who note the condition of the property when a tenant moves in, and then when they move out. Ashley did absolutely everything within days: took photos, organised viewings, gave me top advice, and found me an excellent tenant within about a week. He also advised me on a rent increase I hadn't realised was achievable. In addition, Mi-Move helped me with all kinds of disparate advice and, amongst other things, helped me to find an excellent electrician. At all times all staff at Mi-Move have been accessible, friendly, helpful, and on the ball and have saved me time, worry and money, by leaving no gap between a tenant leaving and the new tenant arriving. I will unhesitatingly go to them whenever I need help to find tenants from now onwards. Finding a new tenant for your property can be all about problems. Mi Move is all about solutions that really work.

GoogleAlthough some initial teething problems and plenty scope for improvement, this agency is not too bad as far as agencies go. Honest with regard to the check in and check out process and no delays in returning the deposit post moving out.

Hi Natalie. I am sorry to read your comments. You contacted us during office hours to report that your partner, who isn't listed as a tenant had locked himself out of the property, and we immediately reacted, trying to find someone to help as soon as possible. We have contractors who are available out of office hours, but your call did not come during that time, and in any event, we still have to contact contractors, and work within the limits of their availability. I am pleased that you managed to solve the problem yourself in around 20 minutes, saving the cost of a locksmith, as the soonest we advised you that we could get someone out was an hour, and the other two people we tried didn't respond immediately.

GoogleThe Mi-Move team have managed my two flats for a number of years now. Ashley, Catherine and Louise have been consistently responsive, personable, knowledgeable and committed to letting and maintaining my properties. They know the market, have a great set of contractors at hand and thoroughly vet all tenants. There are rarely problems, and anything that arises is quickly and professionally dealt with. I can't recommend them highly enough.

FacebookExceeded all my expectations. After my experience using Mi-Move I would only ever use an independent estate agency. Their fees were lower than the big well known agents and the service was soooo much better. Very personal, understanding, plus the communication was great. They gave good advice and I felt that they definitely got the best price possible for my property.
