Huge thank you to Debbie and the team at WA Barnes for help in selling my aunts home, it was a super difficult time on so many levels , selling a home that had so many memories was tricky as was selling a home that I didn’t know … I didn’t know about the electrics etc or what to do to sell a home! Debbie was just brilliant, they showed care and attention and nothing was too much trouble Would definitely recommend should you need their support in the future Thank you xxxxxxx

We had Tom Smith complete a level 2 Survey of a property we were going to purchase. Tom completed the survey as thoroughly within the timescale specified and followed this up with a call to explain the findings or more layman’s terms. Tom was lovely to deal with, kind and professional with a warm friendly manner. Went back to the property another day to follow up on a drain issue at no additional cost. Helpful and even recommended professionals to help with issues identified.

I want to share my experience regarding the barns employe who doesn’t know how to deal with customer she absolutely rude - i spoke with sharon she works leetings section I was talked about house rent in mansfield i gave her all the document and also she said need more information i sent her through e-mail but she doesn’t care even when i e-mailed her i didn’t get respone of her and if i call she behave look like she doesn’t know me.#SHARON

Tashin, I have looked into this matter and it transpires that you were rude and belligerent to two of my staff who were trying to assist you in your application for one of our rental properties. Further more, we sent a request for an Employers Reference to the email address that you gave us and we received a suspicious response from a person called Lilly. I have subsequently spoken to your employer and they have never heard of "Lily" W A Barnes take tenant selection very seriously and we act in our Client Landlord's interest at all times whilst respecting applicants. In the circumstances, I am unable to recommend you to any of my Clients and would ask you to remove this Review as it is potentially damaging to my business and to yourself in applying for rental property in the future. We received an excellent service from W A Barnes. The home report on the property we are purchasing came back very quickly. We had to follow up with an inquiry one month later due to some new problems we discovered at the property. The surveyor offered to visit the property again free of charge the next day and advise on the work needed. We are grateful for this level of great service and would highly recommend working with this company.

Tom Smith at W A Barnes was recommended as the best person for us to contact with a view to getting a valuation on a rental property that has been in the family since approximately the 1950`s. Tom responded very quickly, gave us his valuation soon after, and then visiting the property again with us to discuss with and re-assure the tenants with patience and kindness, to ensure that their preferences in terms of viewing arrangements etc, for the forthcoming sale were given the utmost priority, we arrived with no fuss at the auction date with Tom Smith as the Auctioneer and achieved an extremely satisfactory outcome, hopefully for us all.

Excellent service from this estate agent. I was recommended by a solicitor to contact them to obtain a RICS surveyor. The surveyor named Tom was excellent. Very professional throughout and advised me the complete process and that he would contact me with a value and subsequently provided me an official report which occurred few days later. Very happy indeed with their service.

Tom undertook a home buyers survey for us on a post WW1 property & was really grateful that we chose WA Barnes to do it. The report was really insiteful & pulled no punches on the property condition & where the deficiencies were. Completely unprofessional surveyor, refused follow RICS guidelines at all. He clearly doesn't even know these guidelines exist. What is the point of him being a "qualified surveyor". In that case anyone can be a surveyor. Make things up to justify himself. Waste of time and money.
