GoogleWe recently purchased our forever home from Aston Knowles and they were hands down the best agents we dealt with during our search. Everyone in the office was incredibly friendly and knowledgable. Gail, Vicky, Sophie and Gemma were our main contacts and despite tricky sale on our end of the chain where our sale fell through, we couldn't ask for more from them! Always ready to answer any questions and although we were buyers we felt they were our advocates and incredibly respectful, whilst working to the seller's best interests. If we did ever need to sell/buy again we wouldn't hesitate to use Aston Knowles! After we had moved in, Aston Knowles was still on hand to give advice on local gardeners we may need in the future. Once again, we could not ask for more! Thank you Aston Knowles team!

FacebookThis is the second time we have engaged with Aston Knowles. The first time back in 2016 they were the agent of the house we were buying and although we were not their customer Aston Knowles provided great support to enable the deal to complete. Based on this experience we enlisted Aston Knowles to sell our home in 2021. They did a great job in marketing our home and supporting the whole chain process, it was not the most straight forward of chains, but Gail and Sophie kept me informed through out for a successful result. I would happily recommend Aston Knowles, John Reynolds

GoogleWe engaged Aston Knowles to sell our home, having identified a property in February 2020 suitable for our "downsizing" move. It was then necessary to abort the process in March due to the Covid-19 pandemic before renewing our interest in late May. We were most impressed with the personal and professional service particularly the handling of house viewings to comply with the Covid protocols. The attention to detail provided by Gail Rooker was personable and first class throughout the process supported by the office administrative team. We were constantly updated on progress, culminating in a most satisfactory sale and purchase completed at the end of October. We would have no hesitation in recommending Aston Knowles. GoogleI have thoroughly enjoyed meeting the team at Aston Knowles who have worked diligently through Covid to secure the sale of our property. Once meeting Sophie and then Gail I was confident of the best experience to ensure our sale despite all the restrictions of Covid. Gail was extremely professional in all regards with timely notice of viewings, her approach at the viewing and constant feedback afterwards, and this service was backed up with all the team in the office. Once our property was sold I liaised with Vicki whilst the sale was going through and this process also ran smoothly. What we always liked about Aston Knowles was the continuity of service and all in the office knew what was going on with our sale. Gail is a tremendous asset to the business and was always there for advice and support through Covid-19. FacebookWe recently appointed Aston Knowles to source and manage a tenant for one of our properties in Sutton Coldfield. Despite the current uncertainty in the market due to COVID-19, Gemma was able to not only quickly find a great quality tenant, she found several and we were able to select together the one best suited to our goals as landlords. Gemma is highly knowledgeable about the nuanced local market and has provided great advice and recommendations throughout. I would absolutely work with Gemma and Aston Knowles again on further rentals as it was so easy and was turned around at speed!

GoogleAston Knowles marketed and sold one of our properties in January. It didn't prove the smoothest of sales due to circumstances beyond their control, but throughout they were courteous, professional and pro-active in keeping everything progressing. I am sure the sale would have taken a lot longer without their efforts and guidance. A special thanks to Vicki who kept me fully informed and updated throughout the process.

Gemma from Aston Knowles followed up with us and we decided to give them a try. What a difference! Professional, empathetic an amazing team who really know how to do the job. From Gail who within 4 viewings had secured 2 offers, to Vicky keeping us updated, they were all fantastic. They sold our house within 1 week of instruction and then managed the whole thing through to completion with an unrivalled level of professionalism. We cannot recommended this team highly enough. Sophie and her team were very supportive and honest through out our house hunting process. I must say Aston Knowles stand out from all the typical Estate Agents in Sutton Coldfield, especially in our recent experience of house purchase. We felt Aston Knowles provided us with a high ethical standard of service. GoogleAston Knowles are a pleasure to work with. We viewed many properties with Liz, who is always professional but relaxed to be around when viewing. We are extremely picky, often spending a lot of time at properties to really get the feel for the place and Liz was always extremely patient with us and never made us feel like she was in a rush to get elsewhere. We have viewed with lots of estate agents in Sutton Coldfield and registered our details with all them. Aston Knowles were the only estate agents to regularly call us with new properties and get us in ahead of the crowds to view. In the competitive market of Sutton Coldfield this was fantastic advantage! Could not recommend more!

GoogleVery Poor Service - Even worse when you ring the one of the Directors to complain! We registered with Aston Knowles as cash buyers, we have in excess of £2.5m to spend, we are willing to do work, even knock down and rebuild if needs be, we do not need to sell our house. So in my eyes we are the ideal buyers for someone looking to sell. What we expected from Aston Knowles was to simply let us know of any houses coming to the market place, either prior to listing or when listed. Anyway, having trusted Aston Knowles with our details, we sat back and waited for our ideal home to come market, we. Having took a glancery look online over the weekend we noticed a property listed with Aston Knowles that fitted our requirements. We rang to arrange a viewing to be told we were too late last viewing were 2 days earlier and final offers were due that day, they flatly refused to let us view the house. I then rang back and asked why we didn’t get a call on the property as we were registered with them only to be told the client requested not to contact people on there books only to list on Rightmove? Really!, What a pathetic excuse for them failing to do there job properly. I’m on your books I have cash, I have nothing to sell, just call me? Just for the records the house was listed with the Sutton Coldfield branch! PS when people ring to cpmalin, don't overtalk them, don't insult them with silly excuses, take ownership for your mistake and apologise...
I appreciate your frustrations and i'm sorry for your disappointment. For a lot of people at present the market is difficult, there is low supply and huge demand with more buyers than property available. Week in week out we are having to disappoint buyers who either came in too late to view or have been out bid in 'best and final' offer scenarios. The particular property you are interested in was launched prior to Christmas with us contacting potential buyers who may be interested and post Christmas we launched to Rightmove as per the client and his family's wishes to explore the 'full market'. This property has since been fully exposed to market and therefore we would have assumed that any active buyers in the market would have seen it by now. I hear that your upset is more to the fact that we did not contact you about this property when listed. For the record you registered with us on the 8th March 2021, however, you did not confirm consent for marketing emails (we require this due to GDPR) so you would have not received the mail out match that is sent when a property goes live. The last viewing with you was back in June 2021 and we have not had contact since. On that basis I am sorry to say that you were probably not on our radar in more recent months. My apologies if that wasn’t that case but with over 500 applicants registering with us each year and with a mailing list with over 3000 registered applicants for property alerts and viewings it is impossible to contact everyone on the mailing list every time a property is listed. We would always advise buyers who are active in the market to keep in touch with local agents, set up Agent and Rightmove alerts so that opportunities that fit your criteria aren’t missed. I will of course notify the client of your upset, but of course I will also notify them of the above, I believe that they will agree that we have done nothing that isn’t in their best interest and nothing that they should feel let down by. Further to your google review, a couple of additional comments in response; - 'we are willing to do work, even knock down and rebuild if needs be' this has not been noted on our system. The fact that you have never received a property alert from Aston Knowles since your initial registration for viewing in March 2021 surely would have suggested that you are not registered for Alerts? - 'having trusted Aston Knowles with our details, we sat back and waited for our ideal home to come market' Again after 6 months of not having heard from Aston Knowles regarding any properties would it have been worth dropping us a line or email to check that your details are correct and up to date at which point we could have pointed out the need to give consent for marketing. - 'We rang to arrange a viewing to be told we were too late last viewing were 2 days earlier and final offers were due that day, they flatly refused to let us view the house.' This is correct and we have to draw a line somewhere, we have done block viewings over 2 weeks most days, we stopped booking further viewings following consultation with our client on Saturday. Any calls that have come in since have been advised the same. We have taken over 10 offers and the likelihood is this will go to best and final offers, several of which are cash buyers. We apologise that you are unable to explore this particular property any further and wish you luck in your future property search.
