From first enquiry, to Chris coming out to meet with me for a free, informal consultation, providing information on mortgage advisers and high-quality professional photos, through to Joanne arranging multiple viewings, negotiating an offer and the final sale of the property. Outstanding service provided by all and I would highly recommend Hunters to anyone looking to buy or sell. Very impressed!

It is a real shame when ideal opportunity to acquire a family home is missed due to errors made by an estate agent. It later transpires that vendor accepted a lower offer for the sale of his property. The real questions are; what was the cause of those errors? were they really errors? why was the lower offer accepted and higher offer rejected?

Terrible. Was booked to view a flat near Holloway Road, viewing cancelled because they suddenly rented to someone over the phone who they sent a video to. Terrible agents, don't waste your time.

GoogleWouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company. From the initial meeting with Chris ,advise was candid and frank with a realistic discussion with regard to valuation. Facilitated accompanied viewings which greatly helped with our circumstances and constantly updated on feedback following viewings. Found Joanne extremely professional with regular updates , good ancillary advice and even pushed maters on with regard to legal/conveyance. Many thanks again.

Rude manager (Sarah) - in fact she was slightly violent and very difficult to deal with. No interest in trying to listen, talks over you and doesn’t give any info about property - sadly with current housing market the estate agencies can afford to be disgusting and behave unprofessional and get away with it. Avoid using them to sell

GoogleBrilliant throughout, from Chris coming out to take the photos to Joanne dealing with the sale, I couldn’t fault anything, the quality of the photos and virtual tour Chris provides really do help sell your home, if your looking to sell your home in the Sunderland area I would definitely recommend Hunters.

I registered to view a property as soon as it came up and they never answered. When I rang them they fobbed me off as some second class person. They did not bother taking my details for any other properties. To me they are unprofessional.

We had an unpleasant experience with our local Hunters and now these pests from head office are repeatedly sending us letters urging us to let them take care of our unsold property. We wouldn't use them if they were the last estate agent in the country.

GoogleEven 1 star is too many! Absolutely awful. Staff are extremely rude, Chris in particular who doesn't know what customer service is. They have also lost the full set of keys to my property which is hugely concerning and they refuse to take any responsibility for it. I have now logged an official complaint to the Ombudsman. Please stay away from the Sunderland branch in particular.

Poor experience for the 2nd time!!!I will never recommend or use this agent. Seems crooked, says one thing and does another.We found that they played us off against another buyer because 'Alan' was a friend of a family, rung very true when it all came out. Shame on people who are in jobs which deal with peoples livelihoods.

Shocking, sell property then can't sell. No due diligence, no respect to the customer. They don't get back to you even when you have bought a property. Staff wide boys and inexperienced, be warned do not use will cost a lot of money...

Hunters estate agents are bunch of rude, arrogant people. They make you feel like nobody. Suggestion to everybody if you buy/rent property please don't go through them. That will save lot of your time and energy.

Poor experience, saw a house, rang up the same day it had been listed, told me I was the only person interested and that I could view it Saturday afternoon! 9am next morning he said it had sold wouldn’t let me view!! A lot of lies and mis- guidance!! Poor customer service. Not a good agent at all!!

Absolutely useless, caused a whole chain to collapse, never take calls never respond to emails! I'd avoid as much as possible and if your chain has them involved I wouldn't accept an offer, complete clowns
