GoogleAwesome experience from this team!! The staff were very friendly, especially Youssef who helped me to choose the right place I wanted according to my taste in just one day!! The proceedings were also done quickly by this team!! Highly recommended!!

GoogleI was forced to give them a one star review but would give them an absolute ZERO. The staff here may be polite but don't let them deceive you as they are very unprofessional, laid back and honestly just not worth your time. They tend to string you along with false hopes of properties to rent only to disappoint. During the hiring season a large group of my peers had migrated to sunderland to start a new life, the experience was greatly affected by Hackett property and it's employees. I would strongly recommend against them by using literally any other agency in the city

GoogleWe are after a 2 bed flat for rent and after viewing the property, we told them that we will take it. They say they will put our application forward to the landlord. After this, we contacted them atleast 5-7 times and every time we hear the same reply “still waiting for landlord’s response”, and we eventually gave up on this property and started contacting other housing agents. We never heard from them again. Not even a “hey! The property is gone, sorry!”. So, overall it is a terrible customer experience.

GoogleThe worst landlords I’ve ever had. When it came to emails or texts about enquiries or issues I had I was often ignored. The only way I got my deposit back was by ringing them and reminding them I was owed it. If I hadn’t had done that I don’t believe I would have relieved it. The staff I dealt with were very rude and miserable. Late to flat viewings and gave me ridiculous excuses to the state of some of the properties I viewed before settling in one. Two flats I viewed were covered in mold and I was told it would be painted over. As if that would magically fix it. The only reasons I stayed with Hackett is because they were the only agency in Sunderland that had single person flats. In hindsight I wish I got shared accommodation. When it came to moving in, the agency took far too long to send my the documents to sign. When I texted them asking for it to be sent, they replied with snotty and rude messages. Please just go somewhere else.

GoogleAbbey and hers team had done a tremendouse job for our student rental apartment. She was very patience and helpful with every single step of the way to secure our rental property. Will highly recommended to anyone.

GoogleDo not get your new property with this company. My flatmate and ourselves have dealt with Hackett Properties for almost 6 months. We have endured 4 months worth of building work in our flat without notice, 5 days with a blocked sink, 20 days without a working shower (we had to attend a local gym to shower while Hackett did not deal with the issue despite being aware) and we are currently 5 days without working Internet (We have emailed twice and called about this, but they have ignored our emails) Terrible company that I would avoid at all costs. Please do not sign with this company.

GoogleJust want to stress out there, how these people from this office deseaved us into paying more and a year's worth of council tax for a mouldy ready to fall down property and making us think that the contract was terminated. I'm discussed for what these people would do to gain more and more money and also taking adevantage of foreigners since they don't know the rules here and are afraid. Stay away from these people, there are plenty of agencies around Sunderland that will treat with you honesty and value for money! 1 star looks a lot but there is no option for 0, unfortunately.

GoogleThe Best Estate Agent in Sunderland.... They have been nothing but kind. accommodating and supportive to all our international students. I find them to be helpful, fair and supportive. All the team at Hackett, I can't thank you enough for your support and flexibility. Everyone is always hands on to help from Brendan, Haley, Sarah, Nikki, Sophie, Eazi, Claire, Yousef. Everyone is helpful! Nikki particularly helped us tremendously working outside office hours to accommodate our late arrivals. Honestly, our international students face a great deal of difficulty renting in the UK and Hackett, has really made it easy for us, going beyond and above for our students. Thank you all :). GoogleAm highly disappointed today with this Hacket property. I booked in for a view not knowing that someone has paid for the 2bed apartments. Was not happy . Customer service zero. Am looking for a 2bed apartment but no one is responding to me. 😠NegativeProfessionalism

GoogleHorrible experience with these people, a number of my friends and I lived in properties managed by these people, we are international students and I can say they have no regard for international students as I have asked enough people to confirm this. I had neither hot water nor Wi-fi for almost 3 months and they did not care enough to do anything about it.I did a Skype viewing before I moved in and I can say I was catfished. I have never experienced such poor customer service. The staff are very rude, advice to international students that plan on living here in future, make sure to walk into the office and speak up because they believe we might be ignorant or timid , it would intimidate them as they are only confident over the phone.NegativeQuality, Professionalism, Value
