GoogleJanine was super helpful from the very first minute we applied to view the house, throughout the process and even after completion. Any questions that my partner and I had, she didn’t hesitate to answer them no matter what time of day and she was so handy chasing up the solicitors! Elopa are a great estate agent and the whole process was super easy with us being first time buyers. We couldn’t have done it without you! Thank you so much :)

GoogleIt all started so well! Speed my rightmove enquiry was dealt with and viewing arranged. Offer was placed and accepted within the hour. After offering in a few houses I was aware of things I would need to provide for the sale to be agreed. I was not asked for mortgage in principle or my proof of deposit which I thought was very strange. Once my offer was accepted back in February I did not hear one thing from Elopa which was very disappointing with no updates at all. We didn’t even get a call to advise of key release on the day we completed or a good luck email. All in all as a buyer a very disappointing experience.

GoogleA 5 star service, Janine and the team at Elopa came highly recommended and after our experience i can see why. Always available to make the experience as stress free as possible, also to support and answer any requests we had, including out of hours. I would highly recommend Elopa and Janine to anyone wanting to sell or buy a property. From the initial property evolution to the eventual completion of contracts Janine and the team were absolutely first class.

GoogleI couldn’t fault anything about my dealings with Elopa. -Their terms of business make absolute sense. Other estate agents charge a percentage fee based on the price of your house but yet don’t do anything more for you and your money that you pay extra! -it’s simple and not complicated to list with them. Photos were done quickly and the photographer was non intrusive. I was happy with how they were presented and how they’d been taken. -no sign up fee, no tie in, if you want to leave; you can without paying a fee. -I had 5 quotes from different estate agents and Elopa priced my house within the range. Didn’t mind baffle me - just gave me what I wanted to know - how much is my house worth and how much can I sell it for! -Achieved a sale within 2 weeks and at asking price. -staff were courteous, knowledgeable, up to date with their information and a pleasure to deal with. -I was kept informed with direct, concise and factual reports. -All viewings were chased up for feedback and shared with me. -had courtesy calls to make sure everything was going ok. -I would totally recommend Elopa. I note some reviews are less than complimentary which I respect everyone is entitled to a true review however had this been another company with a tie in fee and you weren’t happy - how would you leave and go elsewhere without it costing you? For that reason alone I’d try Elopa and see what happens. You may be disappointed and leave - it will cost you nothing. My experience tells me you won’t be disappointed.

GoogleWorst dealings with 'estate agent' ever. Mis informed re tenure. Very rarely answer phone. Reoeat messages ignored. Doesnt introduce heeself or compamy if you get a call. Persistent emails and telephone messages eventually respinded to then complains she is working out of hours!. Pressured re £1k commitment fee - to pay venfors selling costs. Told your husband refused to pay it which he did not. He didnt even know what it was!. Added £1k to offer rather than loose £1k if chain collapsed. Told if I bought a new build I woukd be asked to pay £500 deposit. A deposit is taken off final balance. When I ask why she doesnt answer phone tells me she cant answer 2 phones at once!. I take a low offer on my property - state I am still in dark as no respinse re my offer placed on day of viewing 11 days later. Asked "what do you mean". I up offer without being told whether 1st accepted then asked for £1k comittment fee and still no idea if 2nd offer acceptrd!. Told "its not my house I can't make decision" and "no offer accepted unless proceedable". Condescending, unprofessional and appalling attitude. Avoid and in particular Janine. I will spend my £350k elsewhere and seller's can pay their own selling fees. Avoid and don't tolerate the appalling attitude and lack of tesponse and duff information.

GoogleThey were helpful in terms of successfully purchasing the property however the ethics of the company is questionable, they are for the seller of the property and we felt pressurised into further expenditure of paying the sellers estate agent fees on top of our fees to secure the home. Also on completion day they weren’t contactable. We were sat in a public car park with all our belongings and ended up having to go through our solicitors and sellers directly to obtain the keys.

GoogleThis is the first time I have used Elopa and was very impressed. I had initially met their Sales Representative, Janine Hegarty-Bell on a third party basis with a previous house sale, and found her to be very efficient and she always went above and beyond expectations. The service with a Elopa was no different, it was excellent from start to finish and the office staff (who were always polite and courteous) were very helpful, assisting both myself and the buyer with any queries that arose. Furthermore, the price was very good too. Needless to say, I definitely recommend Elopa.

GoogleI would advise you if you have to use Elopa to get everything in writing. We had a pretty negative buying experience with Elopa. They took our information down incorrectly twice over the phone, once from my partner and once from myself. They then relayed the incorrect info to the seller. We formed the contract based upon the assumption Elopa had relayed the correct information. Chain subsequently broke down and then the Elopa rep denied all knowledge because conversations were over the phone despite the fact they issued us documentation to the contrary. They eventually agreed to reimburse us half of the money we lost only after I formally complained and threatened them repeatedly with the ombudsman and taking them to court. Kevin who eventually dealt with my complaint was reasonable, hence the two stars instead of one. We will not be using them again in any capacity. YMMV.

GoogleBe warned, they try to charge £1000 fee to secure an offer, we did pay this as we really wanted the house but there is absolutely no mention of this at any stage. Communication is difficult and can only really be done via email. Not the best service.
