GoogleHuge thankyou to everyone at Alfred Pallas. Recently sold a home through Alfred Pallas. Everyone went above and beyond. Staff are always friendly and more than happy to help with any queries. Would like to thank Jonathon, Suzanne and Anne who dealt with our home sale. Wouldnt use any other agent. No one else has the experience, knowledge of the local market to come close to Alfred Pallas. I couldnt rate them highly enough and anyone who uses another estate agent are making a mistake as Alfred Pallas are the best by a mile.

Googletried to view a property on Saturday 27th March, but the estate agent didn't turn up, which i thought was terrible. said he had been and i wasn't there but he didn't turn up. next available viewing wasn't till the week after. but phoned to today to say an offer had been accepted and i couldn't view it. don't think this was very fair.

GoogleExcellent personal service from initial valuation from Jonathan to completion of sale, girls in office very friendly and knowledgeable about my sale, i was receiving regular updates every other day which was very much appreciated, and a special mention for Ann for everything she's done for me during the sale process. I've used Alfred Pallas for over 38 years and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone who's thinking about selling there home your in safe hands .

GoogleWe had a terrible experience whilst selling our house last year with an agent named Joan, which resulted in us withdrawing our house from sale with them and using an alternative estate agent. After hearing 3 seperate horror stories of late it appears a leopard does not change it's spots! (Her colleague Vivienne is even worse by all accounts). Unprofessional, slow at responding, zero urgency, a severe lack of empathy, liars, and underhand tactics (to name but a few of their traits). They continue to show buyers round even though the seller has accepted an offer and wheels of the sale are in motion...therefore encouraging gazumping. Avoid if at all possible. Unfortunately in the UK we have to buy through the particular agent the house we want is up for sale with, wheras other countries allow you to choose the estate agent who is the most professional and who you can trust in. Alfred Pallas take this for granted and do not appreciate their clients business as they know that a buyers hands are tied to use them!NegativeProfessionalism

GoogleI am not sure how this company have received any more than zero stars. Having read some of the reviews on here, I can agree with a lot of the comments. I've been allowed to arrange viewings on properties that have sold as well as being told certain staff members are not in, but then when ringing from another phone, they are? Very odd. There appears to be some infighting too amongst staff, they will not deal or help with comments or questions if it's not their responsibility. In a world where the customer is always right, it seems Alfred Pallas missed that memo. I have heard horror stories from friends about estate agents, but Alfred Pallas' name keeps coming up all too often. Complaints from both buyers and sellers. If I'd gone through with buying a house from A.P - I'd be very very careful that they aren't allowing further viewings. That is totally unfair and unacceptable. If I was selling, I know, based on conversations that viewings, messages and offers are not being passed on. So if you're looking to sell your house. Look elsewhere. Test it yourself, try and arrange a viewing for your own property... Alfred Pallas. If you're reading this, buck up your ideas or you won't be getting much in the way of custom for much longer.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

GoogleI can't even give this business a 1 star. We have never been treated so despicably in our lives. As a buyer- you would think we would be the more satisfied of the two- we had absolute horrific service from start to finish. Firstly, if you are thinking of selling with these clowns, they lie, dont contact potential buyers or chase offers, in fact, we almost had to do 'Vivien's' job for her. Even getting an offer in accounted lies, slow service and more lies. Eventually, an offer was accepted on a property and mortgage in principal was sent. House taken off the market. Everything was going smoothly, or so we thought, and we have our funds ready, signed lots of paperwork, and bought furniture. Then, out of the blue, only 4.5 weeks of the process being started, my husband was told the seller was pulling out. We questioned why and were simply told she had a cash buyer and we were taking too long. Now firstly, houses on average take at least 6-8 weeks. Ours wasnt even into week 5. Secondly, noone had called us to question anything or give us the option of sorting it. Sue Pallas coldly told us that in not so many words, it's tough. To our horror, we found out that behind our back, Sue Pallas had in fact called another potential buyer (the house was off the market) and accepted an offer. This was all going on unbeknown to us. Us, like mugs were paying solicitors and spending money on a house they had no intention of us having. The service was cold and quite frankly disgusting. They love pretending the line is crackling or going dead so they dont have to speak to you. Absolute con artists. Stay clear if you possibly can!

My mother was treated with the utmost care and respect by all the staff at Alfred Pallas, ensuring her safety and supporting her through the whole process. Everything went very smoothly and we were communicated with throughout. We have been left feeling very happy with the service we received. Particular thanks to Stephen Jones and Ann Atwill who both kept us informed and guided us perfectly through the journey during difficult times. We found Alfred Pallas to be a professional and friendly team who know the business of buying and selling houses inside out. They do their best for their clients. I am now using Alfred Pallas to sell my own house and once again they are doing a marvellous job.PositiveResponsiveness

GoogleI rarely leave reviews, but the Fulwell branch of Alfred Pallas provides such a high standard of customer service that I have to recommend them to anyone who will listen! Ann and Suzanne were excellent throughout the process, kept me informed at every stage and even called and emailed me out of hours to make sure that everything moved forward smoothly. Its a bit of cliche, but they really do go the extra mile.

GoogleWe have dealt with Alfred Pallas Estate agents on number of occasions over the years and recently sold our property with them. From Jonathans first sales appraisal through to completion could not have gone smoother due to us been informed of all aspects of the sale promptly. No other estate agent knows the SR6 area better than Jonathan he's knowledge of the area is second to none. Vivienne who deals with negotiations is supurb, guiding us through the process of negotiation on the purchase of our new property, she really is such an approachable, friendly but very professional. All the ladies in the Sea Road office are very friendly and efficient. Last but not least the quality of the marketing video Oliver produced was amazing using a drone to enhance the location of our property. Alfred Pallas Estate Agents are a family run business which sets them apart from other agents as they go that extra mile to make the process of buying and selling as stress free as possible.

GoogleFantastic service from Alfred Pallas who took care of my most recent purchase in the Sunderland area. I'm usually incredibly put off by other agents who show a level of disregard to the buyer and the effort that goes into ensuring that the conveyancing process is carried through to to completion from both sides. However, the agent who I primarily dealt with, Vivienne, showed understanding with my situation surrounding the sale which as a result, lead to a stress-free transaction with minimal delays and lack of stress!
