GoogleDespite good reviews for the sales team, the rental team are evidently useless. My parents have been trying for over two months to get their deposit returned after renting a property through Lee Shaws in Kingswinford, but the experience has been extremely disappointing. A representative named Harry has repeatedly tried to charge them for what is clearly general wear and tear, something that should not be deducted from a tenant’s deposit under fair letting practices and The Tenant Fees Act 2019. Despite providing evidence and communicating several times, there has been no progress or resolution, and they have yet to receive any of their deposit back. This prolonged and stressful process has left them feeling ignored and unfairly treated. I would urge anyone considering renting through this agency to be cautious and to document everything thoroughly when it comes to deposits and property condition. Or better still, avoid completely. Tenants deserve transparency and fairness, something that, unfortunately, has been lacking in this case. In regards to the deposit being returned, legal action will be forthcoming.
Thank you for your google comment, which our Firm was surprised to receive, where we comment as follows. A very stringent process is adopted when undertaking the “checking out” process at the expiry of a Tenancy, with an impartial overview taken on the condition of the accommodation, allowing for fair wear and tear, along with the length of the Tenancy. Although we aim to follow the guidelines of The Tenancy Deposit Scheme, unfortunately, on occasions, Tenants disagree with our comments, which ultimately results in a dispute being raised by our Firm for the TDS to arbitrate on. Any financial award made after this point is at the discretion of the TDS adjudicators, who at this point will already hold within their Bank Account the amount of monies in dispute. We believe the above fully explains the position, however, should you require further clarity or explanation, then please send me your email, where we will forward to you the Government How To Rent checklist, although this would have been emailed to your parents at the commencement of their Tenancy.

GoogleA fantastic service from start to finish. Whenever we had a question it was answered. If we had a problem it was solved in a timely manner. Communication was great and everyone was friendly and they helped us understand the process reducing any anxiety. We were also impressed with the handling of our property's social media presence. Tracey, in particular, was incredibly helpful and always available to answer my many questions. I’ll admit I probably followed up a bit too much and hoped for miracles now and then, but Tracey remained patient and supportive throughout. GoogleWhen buying our house we had several delays with our seller and a complete lack of communication from our solicitor. Lee, Shaw on the other hand was fantastic! They kept us in the loop the entire time from start to finish, and were open and transparent with everything we needed to know! Tracey particularly was a pleasure to deal with and went above and beyond to help us with our purchase! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and will definitely be listing our home with them when it comes time to sell!

GoogleWe have recently sold our home with Lee Shaw and have had a wonderful experience from start to finish. Lizzie and the team were professional friendly and really understood the area and getting the right value for our home. We were over the moon with the professional photographs and do believe that this along with a wonderful description of the home and area helped to sell our home in record time. The property we purchased was not a lee Shaw home, but what I found most helpful was the guidance that lizzie gave us when our home went to a closed bid, which we had never experienced before. This went above and beyond our expectations. We found that the team kept all parties up to date well and lizzie herself made many calls to solicitors to keep us all on track for a timely completion. I have already recommended Lee Shaw to friends, as having sold before with other local estate agents, I have found that Lee Shaw gave a service that was far superior than our previous experiences. GoogleI had a viewing booked with this agency yesterday at 4 p.m., but no one from their team showed up. We waited for 30 minutes, tried calling their office several times, and got no response. We spent a lot of time traveling to the location and were left standing in bad weather for nothing. This was a completely unprofessional experience, by far the most irresponsible agency I’ve ever dealt with.
