I have never used an auction company…

I have never used an auction company before and my agents had recommended Pattinson to deal with the sale of my flat. The whole process was smooth, informative, reassuring and I felt in good hands with Ryan Luckley. His advise was honest and realistic as these guys know the market and how buyers usually act during an auction. On the auction day itself, Ryan was very kindly called to inform me of every new offer and we discussed our options. The flat was sold the same day and I'm extremely happy with result. I wholeheartedly recommend Ryan and the team at Pattinson for selling your property.

I honestly don’t know where to start

I honestly don’t know where to start, as I don’t think words can fully describe how amazing Steph has been. As an introvert, I don’t always have much confidence, but Steph made every part of the process so much easier for me. She was always patient, kind and understanding, and had such a lovely way of dealing with people. She genuinely knows how to make a stressful process feel simple and manageable. EXCELLENT Above & Beyond!

So pleased I used Pattinsons to sell two flats I had. I was extremely pleased with their service and so lucky to be assigned Carly List at Regional as my agent. The flats were almost derelict and she suggested a low starting bid auction which was a quite genius move and she publicised the sale so expertly that I got more than three times what I expected! Carly was just brilliant. She was extremely friendly and easy going, but also very shrewd and astute at getting a quite unbelievable price for me. It felt like I was in her team and she made the whole process really easy and actually a lot of fun. I'd had bad experiences of estate agents previously but Pattinsons were so different. Can't praise them and Carly enough. Would definitely use them again.

Fantastic service from start to end

I cant thank this team enough! From such a terrible previous experience with another estate agent, I was nervous to start the process again. What a difference and contrast! From the initial call, I felt valued and important and most of all I felt confident and assured that I was in the best hands and the team had my genuine best interests. My house was sold on the same day and Ellie was incredibly hands on and kept everything running to time. The communication was amazing, I knew every update and what to expect through the whole process. Pattinsons found the perfect buyers too and I wish them lots of lovely memories in their new home (just as we have had in the last 10 years).

Bought a property from auction here, horrendous experience, it has taken 3 months now and I have not received keys even,they told me on the phone I should not expect keys. the fees are very high, whole process was a shambles that took far too long. They ommited the legal pack that had all the details of the overage and clawbacks. I could write for hours about all the problems and difficulties they caused along the way and it seems its still not over after I have paid in full over a month ago.

It's genuinely a shame that a 0 star review is not an option. We were misled and deceived by this auction company and their lack of compassion, empathy and understanding actually shocked me. This is not a company I would want to deal with ever again and I would purposely not bid on a property if I knew it was them behind it. It also concerns me regards the agents connected with them who put their trust into their process. My added Reply: As for the companies latest response to my review, which they have edited since their first attempt, I have not personally logged any complaint! My partner has logged a complaint and I have not been provided with any findings of the outcome which you claim in your reply on TrustPilot. Please provide the evidence of you sending this to myself!!! P.s. I've screenshotted your reply before edit attempt 3. Nor have I received any communication from you other than by response on TrustPilot. Claiming to act professionally whilst now providing factually incorrect information, having edited your previous reply is out of order. The complaint was logged and registered by someone else. I was just simply leaving a trust pilot review of the poor service and of my experience. Linking my review and claiming things said to someone else to bolster your reply to me is once again poor conduct. Whilst it doesn't act as a barrier, it also concerns me that your company knows very little about me other than a basic sign up and account creation to allow bidding. You've done no formal checks on myself which whilst your process may allow that, would seen disappointing to sellers and other people that put their trust in you.

Horrible experince withe the flat rental

The agent who handle my property doesn't do the job, whats promised and whats delivered don't match. I got the flat key on 28/08 and before that I was told the blinds will be installed, i will recevie the flat fully clean like a new house, doors will be fixed as some door don't close. None of them were delivered as promised. Blinds are not yet installed, we got the flat very dirty, even the toilet is very dirty, front and backyard is a junk, even the toilet door is not closing. the radiator vaults are not there. And now on 02/09, the estate agent was trying to blame us that the work is not done becuase we are not at home yesterday. They don't arrange the appointment ahead and those are supposed to be completed since before handing over the key. Understandable that there can be some job that will need to be done after the key handover. The agency has full authority to say no to the date that I proposed if the flat cannot be ready and now they are charging full price for the house that is not fit for living yet. Very dissapointing and no appropriate action has been taken yet

Excessive buyer fees!

Excessive buyer fees make low-value properties virtually untouchable. I was interested in purchasing a small single-car garage being offered with an auction guide price of £10,000. In reality, I would estimate its value to be closer to £7,000. As a potential bidder, I requested the Legal Pack and was sent a comprehensive set of documents, including the auction terms. I was astonished to find the following: > “This property is sold subject to a non-refundable reservation fee of 5% + VAT to a minimum of £6,000 + VAT (£7,200 inc VAT). This does not form part of the purchase price.” I contacted the team to make sure I had understood this correctly, and they confirmed that I had. So, if the property sold for £10,000, the buyer would pay **£10,000 for the property PLUS a £7,200 reservation fee**, before taking into account any other costs associated with the purchase. That means a £10,000 garage effectively requires **£17,200 just for the purchase price and reservation fee**, with the fee alone equivalent to **72% of the guide price**. For a low-value property, I find that level of fee extraordinary. **Seller beware, too.** If you are considering listing a relatively low-value property through this type of auction, I would strongly recommend checking what fees will be imposed on your potential buyers. In this case, the fee structure turned what might have been an attractive purchase into something I simply could not justify bidding on.

Really disappointed

Really disappointed. We instructed Pattinsons to manage a rental property for us and were promised they would look after everything for us. Sadly the experience has not matched the promise. The communication has been shambolic. Repeated requests from different agents within the agency about the same things which have been communicated to them time and time again. No internal joined up working. This is unfair on both us as landlords and our tenants. The repairs and maintenance service they offer is also extortionate. £100 quote to replace a bathroom lock. I’ve requested to escalate this to a formal complaint now as the service offered is completely unprofessional

If I could this review a zero stars

If I could this review a zero stars, i would. Shocking and Misleading Service. I was repeatedly pressured by a representative called Carly to place a bid on a property, receiving around 18 calls insisting that the seller would accept almost any offer. I placed two reasonable bids within my budget, but was continually told that the seller was expecting more and that if I did not bid again the property would be removed from auction indefinitely. The auction was originally due to end at 12:00, but it was extended by three hours specifically so I could place another bid. During this time I was repeatedly told that this would be the final opportunity and that the seller was waiting for my offer. Based on these assurances I placed another bid and ended up winning the auction, although I felt heavily pressured and misled throughout the process. Before making any payment I made it clear that obtaining the remaining funds within such a short timeframe would be difficult. I was reassured that there would be flexibility and time to complete the payment. However, after they took £5,000 from me, the property was placed back into auction just two days later without proper explanation. At no point before paying was I told that this would happen or given any realistic opportunity to resolve the situation. They are now refusing to refund the money. I believe I was misled and pressured into bidding under false information, and I am now seeking legal advice and preparing to take legal action against Pattinsons. I would strongly advise others to be extremely cautious when dealing with this company.
