Cowdell Clarke have been extremely accommodating and helpful during our rental process. We used them to help rent out our house and they couldn’t have done more to help us find perfect tenants and put our mind at ease. In particular, Charlie who guided us through this process as first time landlords was amazing, couldn’t have asked for better service - always there to answer questions, no matter how small! Really couldn’t have done enough for us! We’re genuinely so grateful for all the time, care, and professionalism the team showed throughout. It’s rare to find a company that truly goes above and beyond, but Cowdell Clarke (and especially Charlie) absolutely did. Thank you so much for making this process as stress free as possible!

The most professional letting agents I've personally dealt with when renting. Charlie and the team were all friendly, professional, and quick to respond to any questions/issues. Absolutely horrible place horrible people charging 220 pounds to clean oven fridge and washing machine when it was more dirty when I moved in Had leak after leak they always want to argue as well very hungry for money the staff very rude as well Shower was leaking all year they didn't fix it even though I rang loads of time for it to be sorted but kept getting pushed away Don't use these guys I beg any one as they will make your life hell Now they are arguing over 220 pound for cleaning and they can't break down the cost Robbing theifs thats all I can say

We have been renting through Cowdel Clarke for over a year now and cannot fault the service we receive from them. Initially we were shown the property by Charlie, and the process from viewing to accepting the keys, was seamless and informative. We were also supplied with all compliancy documents beforehand, leaving our minds at ease that we were dealing with a professional agent. At our last inspection, I highlighted that we had an interest in replacing the carpets and this was arranged by Alexa within weeks, giving a fresh feeling to our home. She kept me informed throughout the whole process, allowed me to pick samples and meet with the contractors, which kept me part of the process. Alexa is also brilliant on every inspection, very polite and respectful and keen to ensure we have no maintenance issues to raise. I found this agency’s handling of our tenancy application to be unprofessional and poorly managed. After viewing a property, I was told our application would be processed the following Monday, yet I sent a follow-up email two days later on Wednesday and still didn't receive a response. I understand they may speak with multiple prospective tenants, but the way they handled sensitive documents raised serious concerns. The Key issues encountered were: 1. No confirmation that the sensitive documents we sent were received or stored securely. 2. A request for passport copies before a viewing took place. 3. When I phoned to withdraw our application (after securing another property), the agent asked “which home?” and ended the call without taking my name or confirming that our personal data would be deleted. 4. No status update was ever given, neither acceptance nor rejection. 5. Telephone communication was curt and unhelpful when I followed up after four days without acknowledgement of receiving sensitive documents. 5. Automated emails were confusing, and direct messages were left unanswered. My main concern is data protection. We were asked for private identification documents at an early stage of the process before even viewing a home, received no reassurance about how they were handled, and later received only a generic message saying our account was “removed from the system.” That does not constitute confirmation of full data deletion under GDPR.

My husband and I registered to rent with Cowdel Clarke prior to our relocation from the South to the North West. We spoke to a lot of agents during this time and found that Cowdel Clarke were the only ones who actually spent time listening to our requirements and talking to us about specific properties, not just noting our details with the promise of "letting us know" about any properties that may be of interest. Haseena was brilliant, she took time to understand us and our needs and at the viewing was very polite and knowledgeable without being "salesy" and pushy. We were very sad that that the property we ended up renting was not through Cowdel Clarke, but we would recommend them to anyone.

I've just ended an agreement I had with them on the sell side because, as far as I could tell, they thought that my asking price was too high and so did nothing to try and sell my house. And the agreement tied me in for 16 weeks, which Andrew Clarke tried to extend for another four weeks. Very poor communication with me, especially Andrew Clarke. AVOID!
