Edit 05/12: I was contacted by their client services director to discuss this review. They were very polite and apologetic and we had a really productive discussion about how this occured. The customer service level was excellent, so I've amended this review to reflect that.All I wanted to do was browse estate agents in my area. It was my mistake to add my contact details, I had assumed it would be like getting insurance quotes. I was immediately called. The person on the phone was professional, but I made it clear I was not looking to sell in the near future. They said that was fine and they would just email me the quote info. Instead, they sent my details on without my permission to estate agents listed in my quote requesting valuations I did not want or ask for. Really not sure that is GDPR compliant and there is no clear way to get your details removed from their database.

Quick response; very friendly follow-up phone call from Grace Sheene to make sure I’d been contacted & was happy with the process so far. I like that local agents aren’t given our phone numbers - it’s done through a GetAgent code. No pressure - it’s up to you if you want to proceed & give the local agent your contact details. Also, links to helpful & useful info are included in the confirmation email from GetAgent. I have two agents coming on Monday to do evaluations - so far so good!

If you record your phone calls it might be worth a listen back, contacted estate agents I already had bookings with and contacted one I said I had a bad experience with last time, also they take a commission meaning when selling your home fees are often higher.
