We recently bought a property through Own Homes and had a great experience working with Natasha. Even though she was acting for the seller, she was really helpful and always quick to respond. What really stood out was how proactive she was whenever any issues came up, Natasha was straight on it with practical solutions to keep everything on track. She made the whole process a lot less stressful, which I really appreciated. Would definitely recommend Own Homes (and Natasha in particular!) to anyone buying or selling in and around Stevenage.

My family had two tenancy contracts with Own Homes: My husband and I rented a property through Own Homes for 6 years while my parents rented a flat for 11 years. I have only positive things to say for the agency. Very kind and understanding people, always there to answer any questions and queries. We never had any miscommunication and they always replied immediately to our mails, questions and requests. The company were very professional, helpful and friendly. A special thank you to Natasha who is a great ambassador for the company. She was excellent and kept us informed from start to finish of our sale. Ther were several problems further up the chain with a New Build that were not her responsibility but she went out of her way getting things done so that we could complete on time.

We bought our home in Stevenage with Own Homes, dealing with Natasha. I would say Natasha is a very positive person, who makes day to day dealing with her a breeze, was always very polite and had a courteous manner about her. I do feel, although she tried to remain as impartial as possible, the vendor's agenda was being pushed a bit more than what I would have liked (for example, I waited for over a month for the vendors to provide gas and electric certificates & I do not recall any rush from Own Homes, but then when all of a sudden the vendors needed to complete the deal sooner than initially anticipated all systems were go-go-go). I had to get my solicitors to speak to Own Homes so that the situation could be calmed. I do appreciate Natasha worked for the vendors, so I am not faulting her here, just sharing my experience as a buyer. Also, it was nice of Natasha to come and hand us the keys to the property out of hours (around 6:30 pm on Friday night) as we did not live in the Stevenage area at the time and had to travel after work to the town. It would not have been an issue for us to go and pick up the keys on Saturday, when the Own Homes office is open, but it was a nice personal touch from Natasha for us to receive the keys on the official day we bought the property, which we did appreciate. So overall, I guess the ultimate test is that I will consider using Natasha's services through Own Homes in the future, when I do think about selling this Stevenage house and that is as good a recommendation as any.

I was asked to help our daughter with the sale of her property as there were SO many issues in getting the legal aspect “done and dusted” as the saying goes ... and Natasha and Steve from Own Homes bent over backwards time and time again to help get the sale through for our daughter Even though I am sure they had many other sales they were trying to assist on as well for other clients, they always made us feel that OUR problems mattered to them, they attached utmost importance to them and took the time to understand and help alleviate every issue we brought forward to them Exactly the type of company and the kind of people you want on YOUR side - where ethics, results and customer service are their top priority for their clients From the bottom of my heart - thank you Natasha and Steve.
