GoogleThe staff at Chandlers were friendly but professional throughout the sale of the property. Their advise was spot and needed to be to secure a sale during a particularly difficult financial period after the October 2022 mini budget and interest rate rises. We were kept informed of all relevant movement and information throughout the sale. Additionally, they were able to arrange a number of trades to carry out work or surveys of the property as issues arose. I would have no hesitation in using this company again, or recommending them to friends and family.

GoogleThey might react to things quickly when issues are reported, but expect cheap replacements for everything (after getting a toilet seat replaced 3 times we ended up buying our own). Serena will not make your stay a pleasant one. We have lived in a number of rental properties and have never received the over zealous level of scrutiny by Chandler's. Tried to charge us over £800 of our deposit for work not completed at check out for work not even completed. When you check out, DO NOT ACCEPT IF THEY HAVEN'T DONE THE WORK. Overall, poor experience. Know that this is not a partnership between tenant and landlord being supported, Chandlers will make it clear where their loyalties lie. Fully with the landlord. Will never deal with Chandler's again. They really need to up their ethics when it comes to renters. We are not second class citizens.

GoogleI moved to Stevenage 4 1/2 years ago from London and used chandlers to find a property for myself and my partner to rent we found one when we moved in it was nice a fair size newly decorated once living there for 2 years there was mould that started to appear in the bathroom on the celing due to there being no window I reported this to chandlers and it took them so long to come back to me to change the fan we then had our daughter who is now 15 months old we had a leak in the kitchen that we didn't know about the cupboard under the sink was stinking of mould and was always wet so again I reported it to serina who works in the Stevenage branch who then took so long getting back to me and it got forgotten about unrill the leak got so bad that the water had leaked under the tiles and onto the carpets just outside of the kitchen as it was a hot water leak it had caused slugs to come in from out side and her (serinas) advice was to use slug pellets inside my house by this time my daughter was 7-8 months old and was crawling around they said that was all we could do being a parent I didn't do That as it's dangerous we have had the worst expirence with this estate agents and would recommend that anybody that's thinking of using them is to go through another estate agents serina and Dave even the manager Ben south are disrespectful and spoke down to is at every given moment they even left us without a cooker for two weeks and most nights we had to have take always as there's not much you can cook with no microwave and no Cooker the land lord then decided to sell up and made us homeless and they gave us one month notice to get out knowing we had a young child honestly worst expirence ever please do not use chandlers

GoogleThe staff member I dealt with during my tenancy lacked any sort of friendly or empathic nature to the point that they seemed almost robotic and not very pleasant to deal with. I think they thought they're ultra professional but I wouldn't like to have to rent with them in the future.
