We can’t thank Barry and Liam enough for everything they did throughout the sale of our house. They managed to get our house sold quickly with great photos but what really stood out to us was the support they gave us from start to finish. Selling a home can be a stressful and emotional process, but Barry and Liam were always there when we needed them, keeping us updated, answering our questions and helping to make the whole experience as smooth as possible despite us changing our mind about the location we wanted to buy in. They were not only professional, patient and knowledgeable, but also genuinely kind and approachable. We always felt like they actually cared about us and the outcome, rather than us simply being another sale. We’re incredibly grateful for all their hard work and support and would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Butler residential to anyone looking to sell their home. Barry and his team are the best in the business. They helped us buy our first home and then guided us through buying and selling our second, so we've seen just how outstanding they are from every angle. They staged our property beautifully and brought in a professional photographer, which made a real difference. We'd previously used another local agent who didn't do a good job and generated no interest at all, so the contrast was night and day. Their carefully planned online campaign ensured our home reached the widest possible audience, and the results spoke for themselves. Throughout the purchase and sale, they kept us informed every step of the way, fair, honest, and brilliant with communication. When we hit a tight deadline for exchange, they stayed on it and pushed things along even though we were dealing with solicitors who turned out to be far from up to the job (not anyone Barry had recommended, to his credit). Having someone so on top of things made a huge difference when everything else felt like it was slipping. What really sets them apart is that they're genuine, never pushy or salesy, just friendly, knowledgeable people who know their stuff inside out. We couldn't have asked for a better estate agent and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Barry and his team to anyone buying or selling a home.

Barry was recommended to us, he has been fantastic in helping us to sale our house and find an appropriate home that suit our needs. Barry has been incredibly patient and understanding throughout the whole process. No phone call was ever too much trouble. At the earliest opportunity either Barry or Liam was always on hand to answer any queries or ease any concerns we had. Throughout the process and especially to ensure that contracts were exchanged in a timely manner, both Barry and Liam went above and beyond, without such intervention I do not believe we would have finalised our sale. Both Barry and Liam were instrumental in securing our new house, liaising with the respective estate agent to ensure the process was completed with all the checks. These were completed swiftly and to a high standard. Both Barry and Liam are professional, friendly, and a pleasure to deal with. We would not hesitate to recommend the services of Butler Residential.

We decided to go with Butler Residential after first having a terrible experience with Purple Bricks. The service we received with Butler Residential is completely unmatched. The photos were stunning, showing our home in its best possible state. The viewings were conveniently grouped together, I took the kids out for the day and everything was taken care of. We were given feedback promptly, and were kept updated on any offers pending. The team did an excellent job of negotiating for us, and we sold within 1 week of listing at a price we were happy with. Knowing that we wanted the sale to go through quickly, Barry and Liam were constantly checking in with the solicitors to make sure things were moving along. The communication between everyone was excellent, we were always in the know as to what stage we were at. When we were approaching an exchange, Barry and Liam were great at pushing the solicitors to get things done. It was a very stressful last couple of weeks, but the team at Butler were empathetic and reassuring, and I had full confidence they were doing everything possible to push us over the finish line. Overall it was a fantastic experience with Butler Residential, and we are now so happy in our new home. My only regret is that we didn’t go with them first time around! I cannot thank the team enough!

Barry is an amazing estate agent ! No bullshit - no time wasting just gets the job done no matter how long it takes ! It took us over a year to move , but Barry was a constant always keeping us up to date and never giving up on selling our property! He became a friend in the end as his warm , friendly and genuine nature shone through. - a great source of advice too as we hadn’t moved for over 28 years ! He even helped us complete our solicitors documents!!! Liam was also a brilliant, calm , and genuine support during the process ! I’m not sure I can write a review that does justice to the service I received from Barry and his team. Barry was recommended to us by a friend, to help sell our property (which we didn’t live in), and I am so glad that we went with him. Barry consistently went way above and beyond what I would have expected an estate agent to do, from giving us really specific advice about how to get the house ready for sale with the minimum effort/cost, arranging for different professionals to complete various jobs needed (all of whom we knew could be trusted given Barry’s connections to them, and who also did a great job of getting the house sold). Barry did a brilliant job of selling the house, but what was equally (if not more) important to me was the trust I was able to have in him, and the confidence that he was not only skilled at what he does but also thoughtful and genuine with everyone he works for. He was clearly genuinely happy with finding us buyers that loved the house, which was a lovely comfort given the circumstances we were selling in (in it being our parents and childhood home). It was obvious he wasn’t motivated by just selling and making the money, but more in looking after all of the people involved in the sale, so that everyone was happy. When there were hitches lower down in the chain (nothing to do with us or Barry), Barry worked really hard to resolve these, again going beyond of what would be expected of him. I didn’t have a hugely positive view of estate agents as a whole, finding them to be often superficial, lazy and ingenuine, but cannot recommend Barry enough. He really is the opposite of these things - someone you can have your complete trust in, and someone who makes the whole process as positive as it can be. I am very grateful to him - thank you Barry 😊

An incredibly honest, supportive and personal experience! They went above and beyond from start to finish. We had already put our house on the market with another agent before we met Barry when viewing a house that we fell in love with. Unfortunately this sale fell through due to problems lower down our chain, but Butlers Residential went out of their way to find us another house in the same village.
