GoogleWe had a fantastic experience with Murdochs. Peter and the rest of the team were so supportive throughout the whole process and we would highly recommend going with their estate agents.

GoogleSpoke to Peter on the phone and he sounded quite obnoxious and wasn't keen on meeting him where he was very snobby. Wasn't happy to answer questions and got a very poor vibe from him. Would not recommend.

GoogleAvoid this agent. Does not fulfil promises, makes multiple excuses and uses unreliable and untrustworthy people to undertake work. Purchased a house through this agent and was the most stressful and painful process ever. Demanded we stop calling an asbestos tank asbestos as he wanted his 'mate' to dump it and did not want the record of asbestos anywhere. We agreed with the seller (who paid a lot of money for this) to have the house cleared of all remaining belongings, including stuff in the roof. This was not done prior to completion so all the belongings we could see were stacked in the garage and eventually cleared. Day of moving in we found that ALL the stuff in the roof had been left. We removed this to the front garden and he palmed us off for over a week until we had to dispose of it ourselves. Seller explained that this agent had assured them he would deal professionally with all matters regarding the sale, and that was far from what happened. The agent was quite rude and abrupt at times and very focused on making as much money as possible for as little work as possible. Very dissappointed with the whole experience. I only hope others avoid this agent and the stress we had to endure. We never even received an apology for failed promises.

GoogleWe used Peter James to rent out both of our rental houses, and then to sell them when we wanted to release the equity. Both houses were sold just weeks prior to the Covid-19 pandemic, which made everything that much harder. Peter dealt with both sales professionally and the communication was great, especially during a buyers wobble with the situation. He made a stressful situation easier. Wouldn't hesitate to use Murdochs again. Helen

GoogleHave been using Murdoch's agency both to sell my old home in Much Hadham, and to manage a rental property for over a decade. First class service highly responsive, and a good knowledge of local tradespeople for repairs.
