GoogleI hesitated to review this company, because I just have nothing good to say. I am quick to praise great service and have been through the conveyancing process several times, so know what to expect. From the outset, this estate agency had a strange attitude. The person who showed us round told us that she wanted the property herself, but decided to "let us have it" and she was not joking. They left us, unsupervised at an elderly person's home, on 2 separate occasions and they treated us throughout, as though we were a nuisance, rather than a customer. It was almost like a "blame defence" whenever we spoke to them, no matter how polite or kind we were. The agent failed to follow up on sale progress, until prompted, even after a 7 week delay in proceedings. They did nothing to encourage smooth relations between us and their vexatious client and they did not keep their own client informed about the conveyancing process, because she did not understand how the transfer of funds worked, even up to completion of the transaction. Aldreds made everything more complicated than it needed to be. They were condescending and downright rude at times. Our feedback to them regarding their professionalism went unheeded and therefore I could never recommend them to any of my friends or family and I do not recommend them to sellers at all.NegativeProfessionalism

As always, we review challenging circumstances and look to see how we can learn from them and try to avoid repeat experiences for us, our clients and their buyers. Regretfully, as agents we can only have limited control of the situation at times, with many other parties in the moving process. This is particularly the case when there are large and changing sales chains involved, as was there was in this instance. Fortunately, we all finally managed to reach a successful conclusion in the end and our client was very pleased and grateful for the service that we provided her with. GoogleAll of the team were understanding of my situation and keen to help wherever they could. My property, during my purchase became subject to probate and dealing with two solicitors a housing association and a landlord association was to say the least complex and everyone at Aldreds were super helpful throughout. I highly recommend this team of individuals collectively and individual.
