Exceptional Continuity and Integrity

Our main contact Rob was brilliant and stuck with us through the whole process. He always took our calls always spoke the truth positive or negative and was a voice of sense and reason throughout. In short exceptional continuity and integrity in an industry largely devoid of either. We would highly recommend absolute-homes to anyone particularly if they are looking for a more personal service.

Excellent, knowledgeable and helpful estate agent

Rob was incredibly helpful in helping me through the process of buying my first boat, running me through everything I needed to know about river life as well as helping me understand the requirements for ownership as well as swiftly and efficiently moving me through the buying process. Cannot reccommend him and absolute homes enough!

Rob had been incredible dealing with our house purchase. If it wasn’t for his expert experience and tenacity, we wouldn’t have been able to complete the move. He was attentive, diligent, knowledgeable and very personable. Due to his wealth of experience, he was able to deal with issues competently and provide reassuring advice throughout. Both Rob (and Joss) acted professionally and were always willing to help which made a very difficult process much easier. We were able to contact Rob at any time, and he would respond promptly which made a huge difference to our stress levels. We strongly recommend Absolute Homes for any house sale or purchase. We are very grateful to them and can’t thank them enough for helping us secure our lovely new home!

We cannot recommend Rob from Absolute…

We cannot recommend Rob from Absolute homes enough, he is one of the most professional, enthusiastic and helpful Estate Agents we have ever come across. He communicated throughout the whole process and worked tirelessly on our behalf in order to secure our dream property. If it wasnt for Rob going the extra mile our house move would not have happened. We will be forever grateful for his patience throughout a very complicated move and nothing was too much trouble. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

Buying a Houseboat....

From the initial phone call to completing the sale, we had multiple reasons to either have a call, meet up, email and text as buying a houseboat is not a straight forward process. Throughout the whole purchasing experience Rob was courteous, very helpful, informative, knowledgeable, supportive and extremely professional and we would highly recommend Rob and Absolute homes, especially for buying and selling houseboats.

Top Agency

I have dealt with other estate agents when trying to sell my unusual riverside property. Luckily I came across Rob King and Joss whose attention to detail, professionalism and enthusiasm were the catalyst to finding the ideal buyers. They weren’t pushy or self important like other agents I had come across. They were honest and respectful and they eventually found the ideal people. Many thanks to Rob and Joss at Absolute Homes!

I'm so pleased we decided to use Absolute Homes. Rob was marvellous and rented our house to a lovely family and organising everything for us. We had a couple of small teething problems at the start of the tenancy, which Rob quickly and efficiently handled. He absolutely knows his stuff, is quick to respond and talks sense. What we particularly like is that we can speak to him about anything and everything and we don’t get passed over to different departments or people who don’t know us, our tenants or our property. Something we have experience in the past. We really feel we are getting proper value for money with this wonderful personal service. Thank you, Rob, for all your help and support.

Rob has always delivered 1st class service he has kept us fully informed and has gone above & beyond in chasing things up for us and keeping us in the loop, Rob is extremely knowledgeable which at what can be a very stressful time is so reassuring if he doesn't have the answer 1st hand he will try his utmost to find out, I can honestly say that if ever I was to buy again (not that it is my intention) then I would certainly seek advise from Rob, thank you so much

Amazing company with great people

I purchased my Houseboat from Absolute homes. It was love at first sight when I saw the houseboat! However there were complications with the purchase which delayed the processed by many months. Both Rob and Joss at Absolute homes were amazing throughout the whole process with keeping me updated and chasing anything that was delaying the process further. After many months and hard work we finally crossed the finish line! Both have exceeded my expectations and I cannot thank them enough for their help! I've dealt with many agencies in the past for both sales and purchases but Absolute homes is by far the best I have had the pleasure to deal with, I cannot recommend them enough :)

Absolute Homes - Very Impressed

We had the good fortune of finding Rob and Absolute Homes when we decided to step into the rental market for the first time. Simply put, Rob is a professional. He guided us through the process of putting the house up for rent, secured tenants and kept us fully informed at all stages. When we decided to sell the property, then Rob was highly knowledgeable of the local market and used his skills to help us secure a deal. We would thoroughly recommend speaking to Rob.

Rob King did a fantastic job

Rob King did a fantastic job of marketing my houseboat, screening potential buyers and, ultimately, selling the property. His knowledge of the market is unparalleled, he is lovely to deal with on a personal level, and I'm particularly grateful for the expedited service he provided given our somewhat challenging circumstances!

Rob really understands houseboats and…

Rob really understands houseboats and living on the water. He produced a fantastic brochure - his photos were absolutely excellent as was his copy (descriptions). Most importantly Rob made sure potential buyers knew all of the unique aspects of buying a houseboat (even though ours is/was static. We therefore had no time-wasters and though the numbers of viewings was much smaller than for a house, each buyer had the means to purchase and understood what they were buying and had already answered many of their questions before they came. He always gave timely and honest feedback on viewings and although he was working for us and in our interests, he was always scrupulously fair and open with potential buyers. You cannot get a mortgage to buy a houseboat, so it is immediately only really true cash buyers who can be a realistic purchaser. I would not hesitate to recommend Rob if you live on or by the water.

A Positive Experience from First Contact to Completion

Purchasing a property through Absolute Homes was a very positive experience. Rob and his team were proactive, knowledgeable, and supported us through the process to achieve a swift completion - 5 weeks from start to finish! I would recommend Rob and his team for a personalised and professional service, but especially for the depth of knowledge and experience with niche property purchases on and around the Thames.

Rob represents a great estate agent experience very helpful and understanding to our needs and got us over the line and into our perfect house. No request was ever too much! Thank you Rob for your assistance although the solicitors had their back and forth which presented frustrating situations you always maintained a fair and neutral stance. Would 100% recommend the company for all buying / selling properties.

Excellent service with a human heart

We can recommend Absolute Homes and Rob without any hesitation. From first contact until we finally took possession of our houseboat Rob was amazing - guiding us through all the complicated details, keeping us informed, remaining positive and creative in finding ways forward. Nothing was too much trouble for him. As has been said before - not your 'ordinary' Estate Agent. Thanks Rob!

A truly exceptional estate agent

Joss at Absolute Homes is entirely responsible for me being here! She bought the details to our first viewing. Both she and Rob have been so supportive, kind and helpful throughout the entire process of purchasing my new home. They were both always so lovely. Being a first time buyer later in life and going through a divorce at the same time, I am just so grateful to them both for everything they have done.
