I recently purchased a property in Nantwich, Cheshire; the agent was BJB Nantwich office. From the first viewing, with a lovely, friendly & helpful lady - Lisa - I was impressed with the professionalism, punctuality and attention to detail right through to the completion of the purchase. What I was particularly impressed with was the level of communication - Lisa ensured both she and I was fully up to date throughout the process and even on occasion provided information ahead of my own solicitor! I would thoroughly recommend the Nantwich office if you are looking to buy a property in Nantwich.

After unpleasant situations with one of the other property agency, we decided to try to go with Butters John Bee who also advertised the same flat we were interested in. We have been shown the flat by Elisha Hennessey, who is not only very professional but knows how to listen, respect, and understands the needs of the clients. Despite having limited time for our appointment she went extra mile to show us another apartment, that (after what we have discussed with her) would be more suitable for us. She did not push us with taking decision nor rushed while viewing the flat. What is more she showed interest in what we think and feel, and in case of anything that could be repaired or improved she spoken nicely about the landlord and assured us that they would fix whatever needed before we move in. She was very friendly and engaged herself in conversation, making us felt valued. Thank you very much Elisha! When we met she said she just started working for BJB two weeks before. For us it seemed like she was doing the job for ages! Well mannered and a lovely person!

This is a terrible company to use. They never return calls or emails. Would never use them again and would tell anyone who is considering using them to be aware.Sold my house through them and had nothing but headache. When I went to collect keys to withdraw property from market, they took me seriously. Very expensive fees for a company that does not value its paying customers

It's been stressful throughout the process due to the covid and the apartment had issues but the staff at Butters John Bee have been great!Understanding and hard workings they have all the time in the world for you when in fact they are really busy. Ellie, rebekka, Richard and Lucy have all helped and so has everyone else. Wonderful service over the months and weeks and now I do believe I'm in a perfect home. Thanks!

BJB used to have a good reputation. However the Newcastle branch has really let them down. They took advantage of the COVID pandemic to con a local charity out of £5000 pounds by getting them to sign a lease based on a video. The charity trusted BJB, but when they were to move in they found it in a disgusting state, unfit and without fire escapes. Do the right thing BJB. Refund the money and apologize.

Dear John, Thank you for your feedback, which we believe to be in response to a recent social media post. For clarity, we would like to highlight that this is connected to the letting of a commercial retail premises, rather than a domestic dwelling; our Newcastle under Lyme branch are in no way connected to this transaction. We regret that the tenant doesn’t feel the property is fit for purpose. We are working with the tenant and the landlord to come to a solution but as the contract is signed the decision rests with the landlord. Unfortunately, due to Government imposed restrictions, we were unable to offer an in-person viewing and sent the tenant a short video of the property which was recorded prior to lockdown. The tenant ultimately made the decision to sign the lease, having had the time and opportunity to have this reviewed, and paid the rent for the first year in its entirety in advance; this was not a requisite of the letting but rather a decision made by the tenant. It's an unfortunate situation and we’ll continue to work with both sides in an attempt to come to a satisfactory outcome.bjb Commercial team.

Selling dreams indeed. My friend Deborah has rented a property to help support vulnerable migrant women, and due the coronavirus, she wasn't allowed a proper viewing. BJB have clearly taken advantage of this fact - when Deborah moved in there was an improper fire escape, there were bags of rubbish strewn about the place, and there was not even a boiler! This is outrageous and yet another example of landlords' & their agents' contempt for renters.

We recently experienced what you would call a winter nightmare. The boiler broke leaving us with no hot water or heating.
