Up to the point of meeting Simon, our perception of estate agents was a passive one - we understood them simply to be the intermediary between buyer and seller - nothing more; nothing less. Oh, how Simon changed this view! We’d heard from a few people that Simon could not be matched in his knowledge, experience and charisma, and called him after previous chain collapses with other agents. To our mind, there is no comparable estate agent or estate agency that can match Simon’s talents. Every piece of advice he gave us contributed to our STC house sale within a week of coming to market. It was refreshing and reassuring to us that Simon’s help, advice and superlative wisdom continued well after we sold subject to contract. This later evolved into Simon acting as a Buying Agent for us, which was the best decision we could have made. We genuinely believe that, had it not been for Simon, we would not currently be making plans to complete the purchase of what we believe is our forever home. As a Buying Agent, Simon worked incredibly hard to negotiate a mutually agreeable price. Equally, as our Estate Agent, he was simultaneously working to reassure and communicate updates with all invested parties in the chain. As I write this, we’re still eagerly awaiting completion, for which we owe Simon our tremendous gratitude and appreciation. I cannot think of enough adjectives to describe Simon’s abilities - he truly does showcase Estate Agency as a craft, for which we really do now recognise. Simon did an incredible job. The outstanding marketing attracted plenty of interest and after considerable negotiations, an excellent offer. But that was where his work began! There were considerable challenges with the conveyancing process which Simon dealt with extremely skilfully - including actually personally driving the signed contracts directly to the buyers' solicitors to avoid delay! I instantly warmed to her as she understood our needs,from that very first meeting that the property in question was not for us. Unlike other estate agents I had met she took the time to understand what I wanted from a home and what I didn't. Not only my requirements but also as a family. But she surprised us by actually having a ready willing buyer and we essentially had it sold off market in 24 hours. It was all bit unexpected but a fantastic outcome I would never have believed possible. She is extremely approachable and never stops working hard for her clients. Alia choreographed a 4 house chain with a multitude of unusual circumstances fantastically well despite the multitude of obscure obstacles that would have derailed most completions. Apart from the house I was purchasing,, she dealt with the sales and purchases of all the others in the chain. She was in constant touch with all of us,, alongside the solicitors, the estate agents and other agencies involved. The sales would not have gone through without her. Amazingly brilliant. I would definitely recommend her. Other estate agents may “ talk the talk” but Alia“walks the walk”. And in the most graceful way I have ever seen. Brilliant. Worth her weight in gold. If Carlsberg did Estate Agents - Simon Bradbury would “probably be the best Estate Agent in the world”. But with Simon at the helm we couldn’t fail! He completely understood our particular situation and took on board our concerns, while providing constructive, honest feedback.
