We used Parker Properties to prepare our property for the rental market and to manage the renovation works, and I genuinely couldn’t recommend them more highly. From the outset, their advice was expert, honest, and clearly based on deep experience in the local market. They guided us through what needed to be done (and just as importantly, what didn’t), which gave us real confidence in the decisions we were making. They acted as a project management team throughout, coordinating trades, sourcing materials, and keeping everything on track. The quality of the finish was excellent, and the whole process felt smooth and well-managed. What really stood out was how responsive, reliable, and personable they were. Communication was always clear, they were quick to act, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. There’s a genuine level of care and integrity in how they work, which is rare. They’re clearly very well connected locally and bring together the right people to get the job done properly. I would 100% recommend Parker Properties, whether you’re a landlord looking to get a property market-ready, or a tenant looking for a well-managed home.

I did not have any problems until I was moving out. I had to use them as a reference for my new apartments and informed them I was not renewing my lease which ended 12 July 2025. I made it to the end of June and was charged until 12 August. I messaged them asking why I am being charged past 12 July when I was moving out. Nicola told me I did not explicitly state I was moving out so my lease was rolled without telling me. When I told I used her as a reference for my new apartment and told her I was not extending my lease, she said, "you obviously did not read the contract. I told you two and a half years ago when you first arrived in the UK." Anyone in Nicola's position should have had the common decency to send a reminder that she was missing something when she saw I was not extending and was using her as a reference rather than just sitting quietly doing nothing. She should not have rolled the lease without saying anything. I had to pay for the flat until 29 July even though my lease ended 12 July. She also charged me from 30 July to 12 August even though my rolled lease did not go that far. I asked if I could have my money back. Nicola told me they will start processing my money refund on 7 July. About a week later I still did not see my refund (money I needed because I was doing an international move). I asked where my money was and Nicola told me she decided not to process my money until she processes my deposit. The fact that Nicola lied to my face then decided not to process a refund for money I was clearly overcharged really irritated me. They also had 10 business days to give me my deposit back when I moved out. As of when I am writing this review, I still do not have my money back for either the deposit or what I was overcharged. I also raised my concerns with doing walkthroughs with customers after I move out because I am not there to make sure nothing happens. Nicola told me she is going to do walkthroughs regardless of what I say even though I was paying for the flat. Then they would not do a final walkthrough with me when I turned my keys in. I was told they were too busy. I told them weeks in advance I wanted to do a walkthrough with them. When they did a walkthrough without me, they cited issues I submitted maintenance requests for but they never responded. While I still lived there, there was a pipe that burst. I informed them and sent in pictures of the water damage. They never responded. When they did the final walkthrough, I was cited for the maintenance request they never responded to. I would try to talk to Nicola. She would not respond to emails and get an attitude with me. I also asked to speak to her supervisor and she would not give me the information so I couldn't. I never gave her any problems the two and a half years I stayed there. I also responded quickly to any of her requests. The fact that she started using loopholes to charge me and wouldn't process refunds at the end was very disappointing. Between them rolling my lease without my permission, them refusing to give me my deposit back, and refusing to give me the money they overcharged me, it cost me a lot of money.

A very helpful and efficient agent to deal with as a tenant. I'd never rented a property before but needed a flexible 6 month plus rental after flooding in my home village. Most local agents with suitable properties weren't interested in short term tenancies but Angela and her team couldn't have been more accommodating and set up exactly what I needed very quickly. Throughout the tenancy they provided clear communications and were quick to answer any queries. There isnt a zero star so giving 1. When you leave, you get hit with petty charges including maintenance that you have reported and that they’ve never acted on. Read the contract carefully, because they are not messing around about getting you on anything, it almost feels like extortion. Or maybe it is! Getting your deposit back is difficult. Actually it has gotten to a point where it may be impossible.

Angela and her team are fantastic letting agents. I have been a tenant of a property managed by Parker Properties for more than four years. Angela went the extra mile to find the right property for me when, given my personal circumstances at the time, other agents were completely unhelpful. I have always found Parker Properties to be extremely responsive when there was a problem in the house, although this rarely happened as the regular inspections by Parker Properties meant that any issues were identified and dealt with before they became a problem. I have always found Parker Properties to be very fair and professional in their dealings with me as a tenant and strongly recommend them to both property owners and prospective tenants.

Companies need to be held to account for their dubious business practices. This company chooses to operate outside of the clear legal framework set out for deposits, and then tries to withhold your deposit. Faced with the clear evidence (ie the actual regulations forwarded by themselves 😄), they back down, but not after a bit of back and forth. Make sure you read the rules, challenge them and hold them to account.

Would not recommend using this company for tenants, Everything is okay once you are in their property and paying rent but after that they are not quick to respond to any faults with the property, We reported a number of problems that were never sorted while in the property. Getting our deposit back was harder work than it should have been. You will not be treated as a valued customer rather than just a number.
