I needed to sell my parents house since my mum had recently passed away and my dad had to go into a care home. I had spoken to Nicky on the phone to start the whole process and she was excellent, extremely sympathetic and understanding with the circumstances. We had agreed to have Leanne come to meet us at the property to discuss the options of a normal sale or sale through modern auction and we decided on the auction for a quicker turn around. Leanne was spot on with her input and direction towards our needs and was also a pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend using Pygott and Crone if I was looking to sell a property for their pure excellence of what they do and for how satisfied I was during such a difficult time, they made it incredibly stress free!

From when we started looking at properties, Pygott & Crone have been great, friendly, helpful and accommodating. One person particularly stood out - Jade Frost - she got to know us, has a family, and understood our needs, if I went to her with a property, she would discuss our needs and say whether she thought it was suitable, for example we wanted something close to amenities, a few of the properties I called her about, she would go through how close things were, what was available in the area, etc. If we were adamant about seeing it she would take us but her advice was always very clear and helpful, which saved us a lot of time wasting looking at properties that weren't really suitable. All in all it has been a good experience viewing with Pygott & Crone. Thank you and thank you Jade :-)

P/c Spalding So,I,m a cash buyer ready to go but,... P/c insist on seeing who I,m selling my current home with!!!! Why.???? It seems to me that they don't trust me. So,I cannot buy a home through them because they don't have some irrelevant info. Rules is rules, so, unfortunately the vendor has lost a prospective sale,and good old p/ c have missed out on their commission. Still,we must stick to the rules mustn't we. I have not encountered this with other estate agents. Go elsewhere is my advice.

I can’t recommend Tracy highly enough. She has been absolutely brilliant throughout the entire transaction, professional, patient, and incredibly understanding from start to finish. What really stood out is how proactive and dedicated she was. At times when things could easily have fallen apart, Tracy was the one holding everything together, constantly chasing, coordinating, and making sure all parties stayed on track. She truly was the glue that kept the deal alive. Her communication was excellent, always keeping me updated and explaining things clearly, which made a stressful process feel much more manageable. On the market for 2 years, 8 viewings

On the market for 2 years, 8 viewings, little feedback or thoughts about what might be preventing more interest. We asked for new details, we suggested dropping the price, we drove all the thought on how to get things moving. Viewings were often at short notice, unqualified leads either not looking in the area or hadnt an interest in our property but had been convinced to view it. Rarely anyone available to do the viewings so we had to - not ideal. When someone was available, they knew nothing of the area, property etc. Useless. When we finally left them, all they were interested in was the £300 to cover the photo/energy costs. You'll be hard pushed to find an estate agent less interested in finding the right buyer, openly saying beyond putting it on the Internet, there's little influence they can have. They need to refresh their understanding of what sales is. They act more like a checkout assistant than an estate agent. Seller beware dont even bother.....

Poor estate agent

We have experienced extremely long delays and very poor communication throughout this process. We have been waiting since 6 October to complete on our house, with little to no meaningful progress. We were told that the case had been escalated to a senior case worker, but nothing changed and no improvements were made. Updates were minimal and often required chasing, which added unnecessary stress to an already difficult situation. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this company to anyone.

If you should call and are unlucky enough to deal with Jade Frost you're about to speak with the Karen of all Karen's of estate agents. Patronising on a whole different level. After going through the whole process of taking my info she asked why I like the converted Chapel that they have for sale, I let her know and all was going well, she asked our position and I said we have sold our property and money is in the bank and we are currently staying with friends so we are chain free and we have a mortgage in principle too, she then proceeded to ask me what our deposit is and they need the mortgage in principle otherwise I can't view the property which has block viewings, I said she can take our word that we can afford the property and have our mortgage in principle and that I'm not willing to disclose my bank account funds to her, she said no sorry I have to have those details. Who in their right mind tells estate agents how much money is in their bank account? its hilarious and the first estate agents to ever demand this. She didn't like me calling out her rudeness or dirty estate agent tactics and I asked her name to which she laughed refused and hung up, I had to go onto their website to find her name. Typical rude estate agent.
